What a great find while stopping in Grover Beach. I wanted Chinese food (and not Panda Express). And found Golden Moon Restaurant. A old converted house with an amazing Chinese decor inside. The dining room had a wall of hide sliding glass doors showing a beautiful garden outside. Authentic Chinese music playing inside. This is a family owned business and they are extremely sweet. Love this restaurant, best Chinese food in the Five Cities, South SLO county. Wifey usually gets dinner combo A, and I have either General Tso's or orange chicken or Sweet N Sour pork or Chicken. The family that runs this restaurant are pleasant, friendly and accommodating.

My food was verh fresh and delicious. However they got my order wrong and i ended up with fried rice instead of steamed. My soup was wonnton and i i ordefed egg flower soup. The portions were generous and arrived nice and hot though.
