“My daughter and I stopped by La Jamaya for a quick lunch. We ordered Pupusas Revueltas, Fried Yucca and pork strips with Empanadas filled with cream and Horchata drinks. The food took a few minutes after we ordered but was worth the wait food taste 👍good, it was filling.“

“We were craving pupusas and found this little spot on Google maps. The reviews looked good, so we decided to drive out there, and OMG, it did not disappoint! The service was top tier and everything we tried was delicious!!! Definitely coming back and definitely recommend this place! So, so good!!“

“Very good food with homemade taste. A little hidden place in Walnut, but with great dishes and you can feel the love in the food you eat. I tried the bistec picado, and a carne asada burrito...delicious. Do not forget to try the fruit juice. Very refreshing!“

I would say that for salvadorian food, it's not bad. I enjoyed the squash and cheese pupusa, much more than the pork/cheese/bean one. The red sauce and cabbage topping were well seasoned.
Dessert
The dessert with the banana and custard was ok. I was expecting yellow custard, not white custard, which I believe is just the salvadorian style of making it.The plantains were good.
Overall
Overall, I would come here again when I just want to satisfy my salvadorian food needs. The hostess was very nice, and checking up on our needs. Thank you.
Personally, I prefer Cerro Verde Pupuseria that was located near el segundo (since then moved to hawthorn I think), but that's just my opinion.“

“I enjoyed the food and the service there—I had the French toast and the caramel latte. It's surprisingly hard to find modern cafe that does full sit-down services with utensils and cups, so I'm glad I found this one. It felt very homey and cozy, and I was really brought in by the butterflies and plants. (◍•ᴗ•◍)“

“Came on a Saturday night. Was skeptical because of the reviews. To our luck, there wasn’t a lot of people. The server was friendly and fast. We ordered 2 pupusas with frijol, bean and cheese, 2 empanadas and a fry fish plate. The pupusas are big and have a lot of filling. The pupusas themselves are tasty, however, when combined with the curtido and salsa, they are at a whole different level of delicious. The curtido that night was veey flavorful, a true relief since it’s hard to find a good pickled curtido. The empanadas were good and the fish was tasty as well! I hope you have a great experience like the one we did that night.“
“So happy this place opened near our home. It's been a while since a good restaurant has been here. The food is all freshly cooked to order. The prices are reasonable and it all taste great. I really love the burritos and the tacos. My husband enjoys the sopes. It's clean and the staff is super friendly.“
