El Tazumal Restaurant is a very pleasant surprise! Seems to have Salvadoran and Honduran food in addition to Mexican!I had the porkchop perfectly cooked in a savory tomato sauce, delicious rice different from any other and very creamy beans. Chips and salsa were also a notch above!Our waitress spoke little english, so dig deep for that high school Spanish, but that all adds to the authenticity, this place is definately worth try!

Simple, mid range price, food was quite plan, ie the chicken tasted cheap but the salsa was lovely and the tortilla was freshly cooked. Plus the desert was an authentic Mexican dish.It was super quiet and abit odd but right next to the motel and the service was quite quick.Vegetarian options: Salads, stews, soups and breads. Lovely fresh Mexican flavours.
