I recently went to Ruben's Sunday Mexican buffet and enjoyed all the dishes they offered. Besides the authentic mexican rice and refried beans, they have cheese enchiladas, chili rellenos, chicken fajitas, Chili Verde, Chili Colorado, and several other dishes. We had the Chile Verde burrito and a chicken fajita chimichanga. You can ask for a sample of the Chile Verde and they'll bring out a little of the sauce to try. The Chile Verde is in the top 3 I've had in Bakersfield (The taco stand at Home Depot on Rosedale back in the day, Cataldos Pizza on Stockdale/Allen). The service was good. Upon being seated, we were served free chips and salsa. Pepsi products sold.
