The Royal Indian Cuisine is a food truck in a truck parking area. The food has an authentic home made taste with large portions. Customers have ordered goat curry, garlic naan, Chicken tikka masala, Kari pakora+rice, paratha, veg combo meal, masala tea, cha and prantha. The curry tasted great and had wonderful flavor, though the naan missed the mark. The paratha and veg combo meal came out too delicious, with a taste like an actual dhaba in India. Portions were bigger than any other punjabi restaurant for the price. The food was amazing, and take out was still very hot by the time one customer got home. There is a small place in front of the truck with lawn and some tables to sit, all covered for shade. The atmosphere was very warm and inviting. The service was outstanding, and prices are great. It is a go-to spot and a nice stop to grab a quick bite while driving through Bakersfield.
