“Just ate here for the first time. So good, so fresh! I had the chicken molé enchiladas. The molé is the best I've ever had! My wife and daughter had the green chile enchiladas and they raved about them. My youngest daughter had the quesabirria, and again, highest rating. We also had the ceviché. The shrimp were perfectly tender and all the produce is fresh. It does not taste like ANYTHING sits around all day. All our food tasted freshly prepared. Generous portions!
It's a cozy, little place. Very clean and homey. The owner and waitress are so nice and hospitable. We are looking forward to our next visit.
Shout out to all my Baldwin Park folks, you have The Best Mexican restaurant in the area out there next to the quarries on Azusa Canyon Road!“

“Food is good the people were very helpful one time at this place. My food was incorrect and the Cook in the back quickly fix my plate and it was very delicious. Just don’t try to get a refill because you will get an attitude from only one particular lady. if you know, you know.“

They're meats are the juiciest, leanest and utterly brimming with flavor. the tortillas ar homemade! and theyre BIG. they are NOT the small street tacos. my favorite meats are birriera de res and carnitas. I've also had the burrito banado with birriera de res and salsa Rojo. it too was heavenly and huge. they are a full service butcher too so its very convenient. their place is so clean and the staff are very friendly, efficient and attentive. I always get a slice of flan to go. its one of my favorites too. the menu is extensive with everything from land to ocean. you will love it.“

“I got birria de Chivo, which was so flavorful and it had a lot of meat. The rice and beans were hands down and their tortillas were hand made and pretty sizable. There menudo was also great and there agua frescas were delicious. There flan and jello were so delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant the food taste homemade. For the great service delicious food, dessert and waters. The price was pretty decent.“

“At first the food was good. But after a while I was feeling sick. I was burping the food that I ate at the Casa Jimenez then I got diarrhea most of the night and in the morning and in the afternoon. I will never go back there again. The overall the service was good and the atmosphere was great“

“Have tried the food at this place a few times and it’s pretty decent. The cashiers are always nice and my food is ready in a few minutes. I highly recommend their Super California Burrito which can feed up to 2-4 people and costs about $16. You are also given a fair amount of salsas upon request. The dining area is pretty small.“

“I was craving pancakes, when I found this nice Mexican bistro. A large group was ahead of us but I had made a reservation for 2, so there was hardly any wait to be seated. We got complimentary conchas with our drink order. The cafe de Olla was so good, it was just a little too sweet for me. I asked for regular coffee as refill. Coffee was hot and freshly brewed. My son ordered the La Cosecha breakfast- steak, eggs, chilaquiles, house potatoes, beans, sour cream, queso fresco, red and green sauce. I had the classic breakfast- eggs, bacon, house potatoes, and pancake. Luckily I ordered the tres leches pancakes to appease my craving. The house made cinnamon butter on the pancakes was divine. I didn’t need the syrup though it was provided. Service was prompt and friendly. This is a lively, slightly expensive casual dining experience.“

“Well, after driving by this establishment for the past year and a half. I finally decided to stop. I went to the tacos and burrito window. I Ordered the chicken enchiladas comes with beans and rice and the flat sope. Forgive me as I don't know how to spell sandal in spanish (guarache) with Carne asada. Delicious! Delicious! Delicious! Excellent portions and even better price.

Second time I got the Chile rellleno also comes with beans and rice. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu.“

“This location has gone above and beyond for me. I had ordered delivery through their app but unfortunately, I had a very unpleasant experience. This experience wasn't on them but on the third-party delivery service they used. My family received our order not only incomplete but without a sealed bag which was a red flag to me. One of the food containers was also tampered with. I called Chipotle immediately and a very nice employee assisted me with the issue at hand. Although it wasn't on them, she apologized for the bad experience and took it upon herself to call the delivery company and help resolve the issue. Any other place would have directed me to call myself and resolve it. I'm VERY pleased with how this employee handled it. We ordered a second time and to our surprise, she hooked us up with free chips and guacamole. They didn't have to but this shows how they take care of their customers. I'm very pleased with this location.“
