“Moved to Merced from LA and I noticed that the food isn't the same here. However this is one of the few food spots that resembles the good quality of LA. I try to come here as much as I can. The prices are decent compared to other areas nearby.“

“We were charged an extra $13.00 for items we didn’t order. Not much flavor in the food or the Bloody Mary.“

“It is a good place to eat this type of food, however they lack seasoning in the case of red rice, it has no flavor. I tried shrimp with garlic mojo and it tasted pretty good, they were just a little too salty.
In general they have good flavor“

“We stopped by here on the way back from LA, Tacos were 10/10, the pineapple on the Al Pastor was a good touch! Fries were super good as well as the burrito. They never cheap out on extras to pair with the food. Would drive from the Bay to visit again.“

Rauls seasonal tamales are to die for they are great size and delicious flavor, Mexican enchiladas are delicious as well very juicy and fresh. “El Jardin in Turlock is truly a gem that never disappoints! The ambiance is enchanting, featuring charming houses transformed into a delightful restaurant, with stunning flowers adorning the patio and walkways. The food is consistently delicious, and the friendly staff make every visit special. This spot has become a favorite of mine, and I’ve introduced many friends to its hidden charm.
I usually order the chicken fajitas, paired with a refreshing water. Every time, the meal is cooked to perfection, making it a perfect choice after indulging in their amazing chips, salsa, and bean dip. The salsa here is my absolute favorite—it's a must-try! I’ve spent many memorable Mother’s Days at El Jardin, and each visit just reaffirms why this place holds a special place in my heart. Highly recommend!“

“Great, little drive up taco shop in Denair. Walking distance from the Amtrak station. If I ever see my favorite meat, al pastor on the menu, i'm going for it. I'm all in. Tacos were hittin and on point. Just wish they add some guacamole. But the tacos were still very damn good without it. If I am ever passing through, I will definitely stop by again. I wish you much success.“

“WarningWell for starters you need to know that the prices on their menu are not accurate!!They are higher than what they are and due to our great inflation that we are going thru.Soo please ask the waiters for the updated price. Now for the foodMmm... i can say that it has flavor and fresh homemade Tortillas. I order the Molcajete Mixto and it was almost perfect. The flavors and seasoning were on point tho it was a little bit spicy on the salsa Verde. As for the meat, the slices are too thin for the price of the Molcajete. I wasn't happy about that at all. I hope that the owners read this and rectified it. I have to give props because i can eat alot of their Tortillas by dipping on the molcajete ?.The Fish Taco was very good and their Fish Ceviche had alot of lemon juice on it and that to me was on point. As for the other tostada it lack some season and it needed more octopus.I have to say that i will come back and try something else from their menu! This place was Yummy For My Tummy ???
Kid-friendliness: They have a very small kid menu option
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair is able to go thru the main door. There's room around the table to move around. I believe that the men's restroom will not be wheel chair accessible. But don't quote me on that“
“There's a lot of places you COULD eat at the fleamarket on Tuesdays. There's a variety of different types of food, from many different ethnicities which compose the populace of the area.... But man, you GOTTA give these guys a try. Truly. The food is absolutely spectacular. Small dishes, such as their namesake are easily handled and, in this humble reporters opinion, just a hands down flat out knockout spot to grab a bit of grub. The owners are very friendly, bilingual, and treat their customers well, from service (which, especially for me, as a fellow vendor who is busy with the work inherent in making a profit at the salesyard and truly doesn't have much of an interval open during the majority of the day to peruse the promenade, as it were, in order to be fed and still get back to my spot so as to make some "bread" for myself without losing too much time attending the selling spot. I've had a few times now since I've been able to talk to the owners where I may not even need to order, simply talking with the chef beforehand while he sets up the tables and pays attention to the details of presentation and preparation, a slow bit of the day for him but a rush for my sales, and voilà, along about the mid day shift in the crowds composition between buyers in the AM and eaters in the PM, I will suddenly hear a friendly greeting of "Hey, Amigo." only to find that I've being GIVEN a substantial amount of delicious stuff along with the peppers the chile as well as all the other accoutrements, oftentimes without any idea that they were actually treating me to a meal, gratis.) So yeah they got service down no problem. They're prompt too when you order the food. It's often not long before you are already digging in... even when it's busy. And as I said before, there's a variety of choices for a bite, but I'm not only recommending this place, but am also VERY grateful for the help of a meal for a man such as myself, eeking out a living from the margins of society. Every little bit helps. We're all in this together after all. So support their venture if you can. It's worth the investment. Trust me.✌?“

“Outstanding authentic Mexican flavor. Tastes sooooooo good! If you like tacos (and who doesn't) you MUST try the menu item called "3-Taco Birria Pulled Beef" with cheese/lettuce/tomato. I was blown away by the rich flavor. It's served with a cup of delicious broth on the side which is great for dipping. I'm always craving this meal. Another recommended choice is the deep-fried Quesadilla with marinated Birria pulled beef. This one has fresh veggies on the inside and is layered with a rich, tasty cheese on the outside. I can't stay away from this place!!!“

“Local neighborhood place that is amazing great food at a value I didn’t know still existed in California. Stopped on my way through to kings canyon and couldn’t be happier I did. Tried all four types of tacos and couldn’t have been happier with my move. The bakery goods were so fresh and amazing. Cannot recommend them enough!“

“Best chile verde quesadillas ever !Order 2 of the small ones and you have to eat them there so they stay crispy. If you have to get an order to go get the burrito supreme with the Chile Verde. They can travel 20 minutes and still be warm and delicious.“
“Bought: 3 tacos asada, no onions, no cilantro (yes, I know... blasphemy!) Short Version: "Par" tacos that improved to "good" after applying lemon, for good price. Long Review: Tortillas on the tacos are on the smaller side of normal, doubled up as usual, and has a corn-ier flavor. Meat is finely chopped, and tastes alright on its own, with occasional chunks of fat blended in (which could be a plus or a minus, depending on your tastes. See picture). Sauce on its own is alright, and moderately spicey. The portion is a dollup in the middle (see picture). I feel like the tacos with more sauce were better, so I'm inclined to suggest to the owner to slightly increase the amount on the tacos. However, it would also make them a bit spicier, so might turn off more sensitive customers. (Keep in mind, this is without cilantro or onions) On my first taco, I tried it unaltered and had nothing particularly positive or negative to say. It was ok, if a bit on the bland side for what I would expect. For my second taco, I grabbed a slightly saucier one and this time generously applied lemon to it. This taco was much better, really livened it up. I still am not sure I would put it at the best of the best, but for $1.50, I was pretty happy. For the third, I added the jalapeno into the mix, and liked the additional kick, but it had less of the lemon juice (used much on #2) and salsa, and that flavor didn't come out quite as much. Overall, about even with #2. Two lemons would have been a good idea. Service was part, although truck operator (owner?) acted a little odd (anxious? Confused? Suspicious?) About me taking pictures and such. Seemed ok after I explained it was for Google. I didn't use the radishes. No comment on any other menu items (burritos, quesadillas, etc), because I didn't buy them.“

“The food is absolutely delicious. The young lady that took me order was very patient with me, even though I only like certain things. They let me order exactly what I wanted and how I wanted it. It was one of the best burritos, I've had in a long time. I've been buying burritos from a lot of different places trying to find the best place to go. J&P taquitos is at the very top of the list. They even have nachos cheese and hot cheetos fries, burritos, etc. You definitely don't want to miss out on trying them out. The only thing you will regret is not going earlier!!!“
