“Amazing view, the bay, boats, the rock and the sun. You should sit on the patio but there is also inside seating and a bar with a TV. Try the Power bowls, the fries and ALL of their dipping sauces! My salad was ok, but the chicken tasted and looked like it came from a package premade. Weird texture and not a freshly cooked chicken taste, ya know? Oh well next time I'll try something else. There is plenty to choose from and they offer homemade desserts! Last time I was there I saw a piece of cake that would feed a family of 4!?

“I've traveled a lot to the Seattle area and wasn't sure what to expect for oysters, but they were exceptional, they get them fresh on Friday and they are perfectly briny, the wines are good, also had the bread and butter. Quiet spot, shucking your own oysters I thought was fun, but you can get them shucked as well.“

“What a lovely experience. Chablis Cruises really knocked it out of the park. The cruise boat has a bottom area which is enclosed (where the food is served) and there is an upstairs - where you can also be served - and take in all of the viewpoints of Morro Bay...we chose upstairs and felt totally spoiled. The entire Chablis Cruises team - are out to make sure you enjoy your cruise. We enjoyed this cruise completely. Thank you.“

“Nice place but... We visited this beautiful restaurant on July 30th For drinks and appetizers. We sat outside on the patio and it was lovely, the food was delicious and the wine very enjoyable. We recognized that we were seated at the table for about 2 1/2 - 3 hours so we continued to order appetizers and dessert while we were enjoying our wine and we also planned on leaving a generous tip. Toward the end of our stay as we were ordering our final glass of wine and dessert and were told by the waitress that she could not serve us anymore alcohol and and it has something to do with the ABC but she could not explain exactly what the issue was. Being in my 60's and never being denied service in my entire life, I was quite taken aback. We were served the dessert but no more alcohol. We paid our bill and walked down the street to another establishment where we continued to have our final glass of wine and watch the sunset and then walk back to the hotel. I'm still baffled by what occurred.“

“On a day date with my husband, we set off in search of coffee and we stumbled across Lunada. It opened up just as we walked across their front porch. We decided to have a glass of wine or cocktail before moving on.

After seeing the menu, my husband decided we were staying for fillets. I am so glad we did. The mixed drinks were fantastic and the filets, absolute perfection.

The atmosphere was one that offers a sophisticated dining experience high-quality service, but without the formality and strictness associated with fine dining. It is definitely a place where you can relax and enjoy a delicious meal without feeling a rigid formality you might in other places.

We decided to sit in the garden and it was peaceful and relaxing. There is also indoor seating if that’s more your pace. Or if the weather is not cooperative.

The weight staff was friendly and welcoming.

Would definitely recommend two friends and family in the area and we will be back!“

“Absolutely love staying at this resort, and the Clubhouse Grill is a large part of that. Lively atmosphere, always friendly servers, and excellent food! Fun to eat outside on the patio while watching live music or golfers (depending on the day), or to eat inside watching sports on the large screen TVs. My husband generally gets the rib eye, and I have a few different favorites.“

“We wanted a fairly light, casual meal and went to Windows on the Water, which turned out to be the perfect place for us tonight. There are many tables and chairs outside overlooking the boat slips but we sat inside because the breeze was too chilly for us. It's simply furnished with wooden tables and chairs. The menu is huge with an amazing number of choices in many varieties. We each started with a cup of their very good clam chowder. Then my wife had a Mexican shrimp cocktail and I had the Mahi Mahi tacos. Both were very good and way too large for either of us to finish. Service was excellent. Very good waiter. We've been there before and will definitely go back. Recommend it highly.“

“We just happened to be staying in town on Valentine’s Day and they had a special set menu. Ohhh so good, we got the scallops, salad and desert. I could literally live on the salad. The risotto was so good! We ate upstairs and it was really cozy with the heaters and the nighttime atmosphere. The bar was lively and fun, our service was a bit slow but everything is so fresh! I can understand it is made to order. My only complaint, I’m so sorry but, I am a spicy Bloody Mary “snob” and the one here was not good at all. But that’s it! We loved everything else. Now to the owners who reply to reviews, I would have come here with all 1 star reviews just from reading your replies!!! Whoever you are I spent an hour reading reviews and your priceless replies! “Dinner at Gardens of Avila was very good in every way, but breakfast this morning was off the charts. The best eggs Benedict I've ever had, much thanks (I'm sure) to the freshness of the spinach and tomatoes from their own garden.“

“We had the Fish and Chips. It was cooked perfect. The Restaurant has a dog friendly enclosed patio. Everyone last night, staff and the other dinners visited with our hound dog. It's just a fun, clean restaurant. The view of the Morro Bay Estuary on the patio is a real treat. This is our 2nd time to stay at Inn at Morro Bay....we will be back.“
