“The service and food was excellent overall. It was a little loud in the large room in the back of the restaurant during dinner. For those interested in an adult beverage with dinner they do not have mixed drinks (beer and wine only). Our dinner was great though and I highly recommend McPhee's.“
“Haven't given a 5 star in a while but it's very well deserved. Very good service topped on an absolutely delicious meal. Great job with the contrasting flavors on the chicken sandwich that made every bite better and better. I hope the rest of the menu is like that as I look forward to trying something else.“
“Ended up choosing the Cajun pasta which had a nice amount of spice. Some guy next to me ordered it with bacon which I thought was a good alternative. Decent bar selection with a very good bartender. Unfortunately I didn't catch her name but she's a feisty one. Lol. Only had 3 meat items for the BBQ. Kind of thought they would have more to choose from but hopefully it's done well. Good spot overall in a good easy to get to location“
“Best breakfast fresh hot real seasoned food mouth watering melted cheese omelettes bacon cooked perfect hash browns your way and the pancakes are made to come back for. Kids loved the food. People actually greet me all the time. They care type of “
“Great old school classic chicken fried steak and eggs after a full day of wine tasting! Yummy homemade biscuits and gravy. Friendly service. The place is thriving, they know what they're doing here. I'm sorry I didn't discover this before, now you've got a new fan!“
“Our visit to Niner was such an unexpected pleasure! The property is pristine, with vineyards and landscaping that felt magical, along with a beautiful garden and flowers in beautiful bloom. Destiny greeted us and guided us through our wine tasting in a warm and knowledgeable way, sharing information and exceptional hospitality, along with wines that were excellent and interesting! We look forward to our next visit! Thank you!“
“My family and I are regulars, it's my husband, myself, and our little girl and little boy (he's a monster )... We get the same thing, the food is great, and large portions for our family! we go there probably 80% of the time when we eat out it's where we chose to have Easter morning with our family and my parents... But today it just hit a little bit different... I watched the owner say something to this homeless man digging in the trash in the parking lot and I couldn't hear what he said... But no one was around, no one was watching, and the owner of Margie's brought out some food for this man... It says a lot about somebody when they do a selfless thing, do the right thing when they think no one is watching Don't worry we'll be in for our eggs Benedict soon!“
“Incredible food and unique concept! The chef/staff provided my husband and I a very enjoyable and personal experience. This was our first Michelin Star experience, and they are well deserving of the recognition! They happily made accommodations for us based on dietary needs, and we never felt rushed asking questions and striking up conversation. We will definitely be visiting again if we come back to Paso Robles.“
“***delish food!!*** get the brisket fries!!! love this spot right off the freeway!!!! got the brisket fries! without! but to make it vegetarian i just asked for the brisket on the side! 100% vegetarian!! super happy also add green chilis!! sooo damn delicious!!! the best in town! do it. no more searching!“
“I love this place, the food is always good and for me and my family we feel it's well portioned. My husband got the steak, I got the salmon piccata and my son got a pepperoni pizza (not on the menu) and it was all great!!! We also got the pork empanadas . Don't forget to get the homemade strawberry lemonade. The service is always nice and on point, it's usually empty (which is weird for how good the food is) so the waitresses are always very attentive. There is soft music playing and the restaurant is perfect for romantic dinners when you want some privacy. Most places are super packed for dinner and pack you like sardines but this place has nice space between the tables. I would definitely be coming here more often.“
“My friend and I had the best time at the Wine Merchant. The layout of the restaurants gives that market atmosphere. Pretty cool. Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable about the food menus and gave great recommendations. I will definitely stop by during my next trip to Paso Robles.Parking: There are limited parking spots behind the restaurant, but there is a gravel lot next to it. Also there is street parking as well.“
“One of the best places on the Central Coast. This hidden gem is on the 41, between Downtown Atown and Morro Bay. This renovated garage/barn turn modern ranch chic is the home to a fresh/natural/modern culinary experience. Once you enter you are greeted and have menu's on a little table at the door. When you're ready, you go up and order. I ordered the Rock Burger (Beyond Meat and no Bacon), comes with fries, the Bahn Mi Tots and Beer Battered Onion Rings. The Rock Burger is what you want. Beautiful fluffy Brioche bun from Back Porch Bakery, Central coast creamery blue cheese bringing the funk/creamy/saltness to cut through the burger, the caramelized onions for sweetness, the fresh mixed greens for that earthy bite, and whole grain mustard sauce for a little more acidity. The fries are done to salty, crispy, yet soft inside perfection. The Beer battered onion rings are served the a beautiful house made ranch and bbq sauce. Cooked perfect, just wish there was more. And the Star of the show, Bahn Mi Tots. The mix of tots, fresh vegetables, creamy sauce, soft meets crunch, vinegar balanced by fatty creaminess of the sauce, gives you full Umami! Just an awesome concept, that works to the fullest! The power went out while we were there with our friends from out of town and instead of kicking us out, they brought over candles (which was made by someone dinning in at the time) and asked if we needed anything. This is truly a first class operation and am honored to say they are in my own backyard. We've introduced many to them and we'll introduce many more.*What happened to the CHEESE CURDS?*“
“Good service, good food, and conveniently located. We came right when they open and we were probably seated. The server was very attentive. As for the food, the spinach and mushroom omelette was really good. The potatoes that came with it were cooked properly and very tasty. My only knock on the place had to do with the blueberry pancakes. It was mostly pancake and very little blueberries. In comparison to other places that have blueberry pancakes, these were light on the berries so that is a one star deduction there. Overall experience was very nice and I recommend you stop by for breakfast if you are early risers.“
“I've been to CT Cafe multiple times and I always get the country skillet. My eggs were prepared perfectly and all of my substitutions were delicious! - At first, I was bummed that the addition of a pancake was an up charge of $1.50. However, I ended up making the decision to get the applesauce (included) and I was so happy about it! It's a chunky cinnamon applesauce and I definitely recommend getting this side. - As always, the staff was polite and helpful. This is one of my favorite spots in central California.“
“I had been wanting to come here for years (moved out of state shortly after they opened), and I finally got a chance. On a trip back to CA, my husband and I took a detour to Atascadero just to come here. It was more than worth it!! The beer is AMAZING. I tried styles I normally hate, and actually enjoyed them because everything was so well done. The atmosphere is incredible too—so many little touches that make it warm, inviting, and just all around fun. Cannot recommend strongly enough!“
“Interesting approach where you use a card to serve yourself beer and pay at the end. You pay by the ounce. It's a great way to easily taste a bunch of different beers without waiting for a server. The good was good also and the servers were great.“
“Whenever I have the opportunity to work in Atascadero I take advantage of having my breakfast here, the service is the best, they lived, they always remember my favorite dish and that's great. If you visit them, you can't leave without trying the Best CREPES you can tell that the cook gives his heart. They really love what they do.“
“We love the bread which comes with the carrot butter. Citrus salad has very refreshing flavor which we love. We also love the saffron vatelli also is our favoriate, the green peas is so sweet and the pasta is full with the sauce, onion inside is very tasty. The sea bass is a little bit overcooked for us. We was expecting something more tender, broccolini is a little bit too thin. The farm to table makes food very fresh and good. We love it“
“This place is what it is and what it is is a trip. I went here because a buddy of mine was doing a comedy show here a few years back. During the show a Black woman started heckling him out of nowhere shouting, "It's ok, you can call me the N-word," which had literally nothing to do with his act. She was sitting at a table with two Asian women in very provocative clothing who were much younger than her. Having observed their behavior it became pretty clear they were prostitutes, maybe being human trafficked by the Black woman, who appeared to be their pimp/owner. Anyway, I guess this is what you can expect from a rural gambling joint named Outlaws. If you're into that sort of thing, this is probably the place for you.“
“For a quick good bite and a very casual atmosphere here is a decent stop. Call it fancy fast food. Order at the counter, go get your fountain drink, ice tea or bottle of wine then go grab a seat and they'll bring you your food. Pretty quick as well.“
“Went in on a lunch break, visiting out of the area for work.Staff was nice and approachableMusic playing at the perfect volume so you can enjoy it but also hear person next to youCocktail was superbBut the FOOD was spectacular, I order one of the many burgers they have. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED!Will return soon lol“
“This place was so yummy for breakfast!! I tried the pancakes and the chorizo scrambled eggs. Everything was very tasty and everyone enjoyed their meals. The service was very fast and food got brought out very quickly. They were also quick to accommodate our large group and pushed a few tables together. Our waitress was so nice and very sweet and attentive as well. The decor is plain and nothing special but the food makes up for it. The churros were amazing too!! Overall this is a great spot for breakfast and we will def be coming back when we are in town.“
“Located inside the terminal of Paso Robles municipal airport this cozy little diner, serves up some great food. Pretty well guarantee the waitress will not let your coffee cup get even halfway empty. The staff is friendly and personable and makes you feel like family. With a view of the aircraft and hearing the chatter of pilots, sitting around talking over coffee, add to the atmosphere.Awesome little place to stop by for breakfast or lunch“
“I definitely enjoyed the smaller portions to be able to try and enjoy a few different things without feeling like it's too much overall. From the burger to the Mac and cheese and the brussel sprouts they all had a very different and unique flavors. A place I would definitely go back to. Whiskey is a bit on the pricey side but seems to be on par with the area overall for some reason.“
“Valentine's Day dinner was excellent, 5 courses delivered by Daniel. It's a great little spot, tucked away in the lobby of the hotel. Honestly, the ONLY issue was a family sitting behind us with a 5-6 year old watching YouTube videos full blast. Not the end of the world and the staff very politely got that situation under control.“
“We went there for our anniversary. Service was excellent! The hostess was awesome. The only complaint I have is that the chicken on the cilantro chicken salad was horribly dry. I did say something and she just said "oh I'm sorry, do you have enough dressing? " the point was it was extremely dry. Other than that everything was good. Hubby had bbq burger with bacon and pulled pork. It was good. He also tried the soup and cheese bread. Very good. The brussel sprouts were delicious too.I just wouldn't order the salad again. For 18.00 or so it should be perfect..I'd prefer fresh cooked chicken not cold pre-cooked chicken. Just a suggestion.“
“Great vibes in this place. Most of the seating was in the outdoor heated patio and a few tables inside. Food was good. We got the Brisket and Ribs Combo Tray. The smoked ribs were meaty and tender. The brisket was also good. It’s a little skimpy on the meat portion but it tasted good. The sides were generous. The mac & cheese and beans were both good. The potato chips were so good, especially with the aioli. However, for $35 I expected a little more meat.“
“Always a great experience at Touch Of Paso. Large servings and amazing service. This visit we ordered the clam chowder- dare I say it's the best in N. County!? Yum!We also had the beef dip which came with a healthy serving of Sliced steak, no glorified deli meat here! My husband got breakfast, the Chorizo omelet with green salsa and cotija cheese. Was SO very good. Cute little place with screened in patio seating and delicious food. Oh and lots of yummy mimosas to choose from, we got the guava ans it was perfect. Cannot wait for our next visit!“
“Aron Hill was recommended to us 5 years ago for the BEST hamburgers in Paso Robles. Our friend was right, and we discovered their Primitivo wines! We now live in Arizona but, we just visited a week ago, and enjoyed their delicious Primitivo, a great lunch with friends on the patio and that amazing view!“
