“Absolutely love staying at this resort, and the Clubhouse Grill is a large part of that. Lively atmosphere, always friendly servers, and excellent food! Fun to eat outside on the patio while watching live music or golfers (depending on the day), or to eat inside watching sports on the large screen TVs. My husband generally gets the rib eye, and I have a few different favorites.“

“Absolute gem in an unexpected place. Morro Bay Oysters were among the best we've ever had. The menu items were outside typical expectations and we're so glad they were! Delish tapas and the smoked fish dip and chips is incredible! Thanks for the recommendation from staff as its not something we would have ordered on our own. Shockingly good wines with unique varietals and super friendly hosts. Shuck Shack is where talent and passion come together for a fun and above average experience. - perfect for a day at the beach!“

“We came here for our one year wedding anniversary. Got the outlaw burger and it was the best burger I’ve ever had. The shoestring style fries were soooo good. Johnny was an excellent server. Attentive. Kind. Funny. Personable! he deserves a raise! And even offered us a free dessert for our celebration.“

“Stopped by Mulligans at Avila Beach Golf Resort and had a great experience. It was nice and quiet, the food was really good, and the staff was super friendly and inviting.
It’s kind of tucked away at the end of the beach walk, we actually thought it was just a wedding venue at first, which they do host as well, but it turns out it’s the golf clubhouse. Really welcoming spot with genuinely good people who take care of you.
We’ll definitely be back, next time to play the course right by the ocean.“

“Nice place but... We visited this beautiful restaurant on July 30th For drinks and appetizers. We sat outside on the patio and it was lovely, the food was delicious and the wine very enjoyable. We recognized that we were seated at the table for about 2 1/2 - 3 hours so we continued to order appetizers and dessert while we were enjoying our wine and we also planned on leaving a generous tip. Toward the end of our stay as we were ordering our final glass of wine and dessert and were told by the waitress that she could not serve us anymore alcohol and and it has something to do with the ABC but she could not explain exactly what the issue was. Being in my 60's and never being denied service in my entire life, I was quite taken aback. We were served the dessert but no more alcohol. We paid our bill and walked down the street to another establishment where we continued to have our final glass of wine and watch the sunset and then walk back to the hotel. I'm still baffled by what occurred.“

“Very lovely atmosphere. Food is good but wish there were healthier options, such as no deep frying of potatoes. Lobster rolls were delicious but only 2 and smallish and again deep fried. Service was a bit slow at times, and parking was difficult due to event that weekend. Overall would recommend.“

“Wow! I mean WOW!!! The food was absolutely phenomenal and the service was even better! The restaurant has a very romantic and cozy feel. The temperature in the restaurant was nice enough that the light cardigan I wore did not need removing and I never felt cold. It's candle lit dim lighting right with a crystal clear view of the bay through the cleanest windows I've ever seen.
We ordered the local halibut and the steak dinner and to say they melted in our mouths is an understatement. To top it off we finished with the most phenomenal blueberry cobbler ice cream. I dare say, I will never find an ice cream that amazing ever again. And if the food and the view aren't enough to convince you, the staff is beyond amazing. Our server made great meal reccomendations, never came when we were mid bite, and we never felt rushed while enjoying our meal.
I recommend making reservations in advanced during busier seasons.“

“We just happened to be staying in town on Valentine’s Day and they had a special set menu. Ohhh so good, we got the scallops, salad and desert. I could literally live on the salad. The risotto was so good! We ate upstairs and it was really cozy with the heaters and the nighttime atmosphere. The bar was lively and fun, our service was a bit slow but everything is so fresh! I can understand it is made to order. My only complaint, I’m so sorry but, I am a spicy Bloody Mary “snob” and the one here was not good at all. But that’s it! We loved everything else. Now to the owners who reply to reviews, I would have come here with all 1 star reviews just from reading your replies!!! Whoever you are I spent an hour reading reviews and your priceless replies! I adore you 😂 But honestly, really good food and very fun and great atmosphere. Back sooner than later♥️“

“We decided to try them on a whim, simply because I was curious to finally try escargot. Everything was so delicious! “The location is key. This is a wonderful place to have a meal, especially if you're staying at the resort. The menu is brief, but filled with enough delicious items to choose from. The terrace is especially nice: romantic, great ambiance, terrific light as sunset turns to night.“

“We stay at the Inn at Morro Bay often, and it’s such a treat to have a great restaurant right at the hotel. I’ve eaten here many times and it’s always consistently good. I especially love that they have a dog-friendly patio so I can bring my pup along. The bay views are absolutely beautiful, and the service is always wonderful.“
