“recommended to me — I wasn’t disappointed. There was a bit of a line when I arrived, but it moved quickly and the staff were helpful, even with all the hustle. The ordering process was super easy, and the space felt clean and welcoming.

The cookies themselves? Genuinely excellent. Big, warm, and packed with flavour — definitely lived up to the hype. I tried a couple of the weekly specials and would’ve gone back again if I’d had more time in Downey.

This is by far the best healthy dessert option out there. Everything is made fresh, using only all-natural ingredients and real fruit. If the fruit isn’t fresh, they won’t serve it—simple as that, and I love that standard.

The coconut jelly is light, refreshing, and absolutely delicious. Service is generally good—can be a bit slow when it’s busy, but totally worth the wait. The Tiffany blue decor and crystal chandeliers give the place a really chic and cozy vibe. Even the packaging is cute, and the little bear spoon is an adorable touch!

Bonus tip: Bring back 10 empty jars and get a free coconut jelly.

“I was impressed how one girl delivered exceptional service on such a busy Sunday. Very swiftly yet calm and helpful to indecisive customers. I had the dulce de leche first and it was amazing and the freddo expresso transported me back to Greece. Not everone gets it on point. I opt to try their OG stuff first so I went with their level 3 matcha latte in oat milk and their parfait to make my trip worth it! It didn’t disappoint me. So I was wandering with no destination in mind and I come across the Sweet Box kiosk. So freaking cute!!! This place is NOT cheap and being that the macarons were so cute, I figured they only looked good but didn't hold much weight in the flavor department. I was wrong. I enjoy macarons on rare occasions because they are usually too sweet. However, Sweet Box did a great job with the balance of sweetness, chewiness, and presentation. I would definitely recommend this place to others. After bringing them home and trying them, I was thinking of who's bday was coming up so I could buy them some. Out of the dozen I bought, the Earl Grey was my favorite. The Strawberry was good as well as it had a real fruit flavor to it. Piece of advise. Don't let them sit in your car or in a warm area as the filling will melt. I learned the hard way. I still ate all of them though. The service was good but I did feel a little rushed. I didn't understand why being that there was no one in line but I did feel rushed. She wasn't rude but she kept looking over her shoulder like she had something else to get to.“

“Yummy Japanese dessert spot! I’ve seen it get pretty busy during the day, but at night it wasn’t too crowded—perfect for a post-dinner treat. We tried two taiyakis and an upside-down soft serve with black sesame filling (ube + matcha swirl). Highly recommend going for the swirl when it’s available—it’s such a good balance of flavors. The black sesame taiyaki was delicious, but the green matcha custard could’ve used a stronger matcha flavor. Overall, a fun and satisfying dessert stop I’d come back to!“

“I love supporting small businesses. It is the spot when I crave for cheese cake or need pick it up for potlucks and parties. I love the Japanese Iced cheesecake . It's light, not too sweet Percy texture and so delicious. They have the original , matcha , strawberry and Oreo flavors. You can either one flavor or a set of all 4.

The taro snowflakes is a must try, creamy taro sponge cake made with real taro.

This shop is clean, cutesy and is family owned and I was helped by the owner's mom, she's super nice lady, the owner makes all the cakes.
