“Kyle is probably the best bartender I’ve ever known. He took great care of us every time my gf and I have been to 33 taps. Very friendly, and always attentive. Never had to wait long to get his attention for another round. The last time my gf and I went, we also had Laine and Bridget as a bartender cus I believe Kyle was on break, and they remembered our names, which we loved. They were also very attentive. “Edited for recent visit on 2/7/24:Finally got to try the malai pasta. It did not disappoint in flavor and was fantastic. I think adding some meatballs would further elevate this dish with some protein. Lamb sliders were also super tasty. The pizza was fine but was made better by dipping it in the malai pasta sauce. “Fantastic addition to our South Park neighborhood. The food is much better than you would expect. I recommend the steak tacos. The staff is amazing as well! Really solid team. “This bar has all the right games at any given time. Great place! Football playoffs were showing on every TV outside of the bar. Another the end. One maybe two screens were dialed to NASCAR. For the most part, Our server was attentive and she would ask us how are doing. Her instinct The menu was substantial. I choose the dip if I remember correctly. Awesome sandwich. The nacho were LOADED with various meats and copious amounts of cheese. Worth checking out if are visiting Whittier.“

“We were up in the Long Beach area for the weekend and my husband wanted to watch UFC so he found this bar showing it at no charge! The place is big with lots of TVs, seating and games. It was a bit cluttered. Lots of stuff that were sitting in piles all over the place. It seems like it should be in a storage room but maybe they are short on storage. Other than that, it was fine. The staff was great. Like I said, it is a big place but we did not have a problem getting drinks or food. I ordered the pretzel bites and a Nathan's hot dog Chicago style. The dog was really yummy and filling. My husband ordered the quesadilla and he liked it. Said it was nice and spicy. If we are back in the area we will def return.“
“My husband was staying at usc hospital and me and my son would pass by everyday to go to our hotel and one day we stopped and ate an early dinner. The service was exceptional and everyone was really nice and attentive. The Mac and cheese bites were my favorite appetizer!! So good. The pizza I had was really good and my son said his pasta was good. The older gentleman with the accent was really sweet. “Love this place! Came here the entire football season and it was such a great vibe for sports. They even have a cute patio area with TVs which I'll be taking advantage of A LOT this summer. Full bar and the food is tasty - great happy hour in general but they also have a great taco Tuesday and $10 pizza Wednesdays. Highly recommend! “Haven't been to Gold Room in years, better than I remember it. Small dive bar off Sunset. Bartender Tony was friendly, attentive and quick to take our drink order. His cocktails were very very well made. He takes his time and you can tell enjoys the craft. Tried the Double Trouble and Pineapple Express. Double Trouble is absolutely delicious - 10/10. Pineapple Express was just as good, but def loaded (has mezcal & tequila). It'll have you feeling good real quick. Drink prices are reasonable priced for LA. Same for their daily happy hour menu. Very solid beer menu too. They have a jukebox you can pay to control the music which is kinda cool. Get to hear a variety of music genres cause of it. Solid bar for a quick beer or cocktail.“

Was pleasantly surprised when I went in bar looks like it has been renovated has a big bar and nice size tables to accommodate parties of various sizes. Ordered some food like the nachos and bitch were excellent and tacos were delicious also had the lumpia taquitos which were on point with the sauce. The beer selection is good mixed drinks were priced moderately. Over all service was great we had two servers in charged of our table both were great. Was disappointed with all the 49ers decor but service and food made up for it.“

“I like the vibe of this place but I was going back and forth between 3 and 4 stars. The prices are high. This is a dive bar but the prices do not reflect that. That's my biggest complaint. Our server was super sweet, albeit sometimes hard to find. Who knows how many servers were on the clock or how big their sections were, so I'm not holding it against her. Her personality honestly made up for it anyway. The wings are fantastic. The rest of the food was just fine. There is a parking lot, which is great, but does fill up quickly on a busy night. Do make sure to get a pass from the bartender/server.“

“This place is a serious good time. A word to the wise, the karaoke is deceiving, the pros make it look super easy but it's far from it. There's only instrumental to accompany you with minimal cues. I failed miserably at my rendition of Shoop from award winning artists Salt-N-Pepa. I would have been mortified if not for the stop light shot I had taken just before. Warning No.2, if you come here on your birthday you will have to take one of these stop light shots (3 of em) in a consecutive fashion whilst the whole bar sings happy birthday to you. All in all, a great night with a chill crowd. The Micheladas are delicious and made to your spice preference. The bartenders are all really nice and friendly. 10/10 will return and hopefully recoup my honor in the karaoke.“

“I was invited to a friend's birthday party here. I'm familiar with the area but I had never heard of the place. It's in a small strip mall in the corner I drove around a few times before I actually found. I drive an SUv and the parking close to the bar are all for compact cars. I didn't want to walk far so I squeezed into the really tight space. I didn't order food as they allow you to bring in your own food in. I did buy a drink from the bar a Cadillac margarita which to my surprise was $18 and in a very small glass. It wasn't strong which made me make the decision to have just one drink. The DJ was good and when asked to play the birthday song of choice he did. He gave her shout out. The guys at the party played dominoes and they have pool tables too. I would go back again but would definitely bring my own drink in the parking lot“

Unfortunately I went yesterday 12/11/23 and I ended up getting food poisoning, the service was terrible and you have nothing but a bunch of drunk idiots fighting at the bar. “This review is long overdue!!!! I love this place me and my husband found this spot about 5 yrs ago and no matter how many billiards we've been to we always come back to this location. It's always such a fun time coming here you can play music through the app or on the digital "juke box" on the wall (next to the darts area). They have "appetizers" I put quotations because although they are appetizers they are a pretty good portion pretty much a meal the drinks are good they changed them often but it keeps it refreshing to have something new on the menu keeps it fun not boring. Overall such a great time bartenders are always so fun super nice overall the service is always great every single time we've been there. We've kind of made a tradition of coming here on our anniversary because it's just soo chill and awesome“

This time I experienced a fairly nice bar while I watched both the Canelo vs. GGG Trilogy boxing match and the Dodgers vs. Giants baseball game simultaneously. The waitresses and bartenders were very nice. I'll definitely keep this place in mind for watching future sports events. Otherwise, parking for this location isn't easy to come by and it's not a pick up joint. The clientele was pretty much exclusively middle aged Mexican men.“
