“Big fan of Pijja Palace and its evolution from buzzy cutthroat reservation scene to local legend.
Whether it's a first date, family dinner, or game night, this place is consistently good.
Service is experienced, quick, and welcoming.
The cocktails are well done, balanced, and boozy - a mark of a seasoned bar program.
My favorite dishes: Lamb burger (and fries), aachari buffalo wings, Nihari lamb and macaroni, chicken parm, any of the pijjas

The customer service was exceptional and the women's sports games playing and overall vibes were stellar. I will be back again to hang out but also host another event there!“

Happy Hour is a good deal there and the wings were tasty. the garlic parmesan dry wings were crispy and the regular buffalo wings had a bit of a kick. i would go again and so should you.“

“Lakewood Rocks Sports Bar is a very nice. Great live bands, friendly bartenders, clean, dance floor, nice decore and set up well. It may look small from the outside but step in and you will find it's much larger. Sue the owner is a very friendly person and takes pride in what she does. Myself as a woman feels safe there. Nice friendly clientele. The door manager is a great guy. Step into Lakewood Rocks Sportsbar and enjoy a good time!“

“A go-to small bar to watch any major event. I live down the street and this spot has cemented itself as a staple of the community for such events. Staff are friendly, 3 restrooms, plus separate stalls for men, the place is constantly being watched for empty beer bottles/trash. I've enjoyed my visits here ☺
The outdoor area is covered by a huge tree that gives plenty of shade. On top of that, the place isn't noisy unless it's a weekend night.“

“Great new place for lunch in DTLA. Very large open patio on the second floor with a full bar. Young chef/proprietor has created a super interesting menu---everything from Korean street tacos to escargot to homemade pastas and seasonal sandwiches and salads. Pricing is great----2 extra large empanadas filled with ribeye steak served with lime and crema for $10.00! White tablecloths, linen napkins---it was a very unexpected, great lunch experience.“

“DTLA Sports Bar & Grill is hands-down one of my favorite spots downtown. The vibe is always on point, the food hits every time, and it’s the perfect place to watch a game or just hang out with friends.
Huge shoutout to Kim — she seriously made the experience. Super friendly, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of from start to finish. You can tell she actually cares about the customers, which makes such a difference.

“This is the best place to hang out with your buddies or your wife, they have great wings, and cheap hhour specials. Always games on and Tv everywhere. You even can get big phat steaks!! My wife loves Tuesdays, she likes the steak tacos for 1.75, we even got happy hour priced drinks on the weekends including on superbowl... Beat that!!!“

“Just came by for a leisurely Labor Day early lunch and Manny did not disappoint. We ordered two #3 combos, so 6 meats and 8 sides for 4 people. We had the brisket, tri-tip, beef ribs, baby back ribs, pulled pork, and the chicken. For the sides, we had 3 smoked beans, potato salad, 2 cole slaw, and 2 mac salads. It was nothing short of a feast! The meats were well-smoked, flavorful, juicy, and Manny was as kind as he was generous and attentive. He threw in 4 free sodas, free bread, a free side (we went with an extra cole slaw), and threw on a free kielbasa as well! We couldn't finish everything and the food we took home would easily make for an extra meal for all of us. We drove all most an hour, in the rain, from Torrance; this was not our first dining experience here, and it was just this kind of generosity and service that we experienced the first time that brought us back and will continue bringing us back as long as he stays in business.
Many thanks again Manny, it definitely was the perfect way to kick off a relaxing Sunday; we came for good food, good service, a good experience overall and you did not disappoint. Much love and respect!“

“Pelicana is the OG of KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) boom in Korea. It faces stiff competition along South street in Artesia, from Dave's, Raising Cane, Chik FilA, Jollibee, Popeyes, McDonald's, and bbq.
I ordered the half chicken, original with Smokey hot sauce. The chicken is not as juicy as Jollibee or bbq, the sweet yet hot sauce, however, is sticky good. It comes with pickled radish / chicken-mu to cut through the grease and spice. It's good to enjoy it with a glass of cold beer.“

“Sun light hours, this is a neighborhood bar with 50% of patrons being regulars. Staff knows everyone, and it's very welcoming. Come at night if you want a good drink and a loud dive bar. Pool table, golden tee, and they just added 2 dart boards. Live music a few nights a week. Cheap prices here don't mean cheap drinks.“
