“We had a great experience at Bonito Poke! What really stood out was the service — the chef herself served us and was so friendly and thoughtful. My husband and I decided to share our meal, and she kindly plated it on two separate dishes instead of just giving us an extra plate — such a small but meaningful gesture that showed how much she cares about her customers. She also took the time to describe the dishes, which helped us choose what suited our tastes best.

The place had a cozy, welcoming vibe. It’s a bit small inside, but that added to the charm for us. Definitely a hidden gem in American Canyon — we’ll be back!“

“We were looking for a place to get some comfort Asian food and this was the perfect spot.

Good:
- The macaroni and the chicken bbq dish was amazing - the portion sizes were great and the portions were good
- Servers were very nice
- The place is pretty simple, but still clean and well kept

Bad:
- Took a bit for our food to arrive for a casual place like this

Every this is delicious, from the BBQ chicken, to the curry, to the Loco Moco ... however the ambiance is a bit lacking, but that doesn't matter the people are nice and the food is good. Come eat here and forget about the fast food chains ...“

“Surprisingly really good food! I bought a poke bowl and it was really good, probably the best poke I’ve had in the Bay Area! I have tried every restaurant at the Sunvalley mall (most are meh mall food) and this was the last one I haven’t tried (I’ve been putting it off as mall poke doesn’t sound that appealing) but this is probably my favorite food I’ve tried in the mall as well as the healthiest. I come to the mall once a month and I will definitely be back to buy another poke bowl.I definitely recommend for anyone that enjoys sushi. The bowl was $14 but it was very large and would be perfect to share, good deal“

“I ordered 22 individual meals for a company lunch. The food was prepared, boxed, and ready to go in less than an hour. They made sure to write who's food belonged to which employee on their boxes, and went over my checklist with me more than once to make sure nothing had been missed.

My staff loved the food and I received many comments about how good it was. I would rate this business higher than a 5 if I could.

“Just went last Week and I went in feeling stupid trying to pull off a last minute get-together for a valued staff member at my dialysis treatment center and 15-18 other staff members. I came out very educated, because not only did they have the prices, clearly indicated, on the wall, they also had the small, medium and large aluminum family/Party size pans (shown on wall) to put the combo I purchased, in. I requested, but didn't need a Manager. The Cashier was fully knowledgeable about what I was stumbling and stammering over. That took 5 minutes, including payment for the order, (with her suggestion) after telling her what I needed it for.? She requested 20 minutes to prepare and I was on my way to the venue, in less, taking altogether a half hour. ? The meat was done and It was a hit!!!! They ARE a Great solution for last minute, especially when Grocery stores and caterers ask for 2 days! Marvelous job and I chose them for a Seafood combo and Loca Moco dish 2 days later, on Saturday. ??

Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian selection. My Grandson is a Pescatarian. The Atmosphere is better than most and it is definitely ADA compliant.

Kid-friendliness: My Granddaughter is always in there for the Chicken teriyaki Masubis“

“Excited to have another Hawaiian bbq restaurant to add to our rotation. L&L is always consistent with generous portions, good flavor, and healthy options. The service at this particular location is great, it’s small but the folks behind the counter are always friendly and the service is always quick.“

“This place was a nice stop. It wasn’t busy when we came in, so we got our food pretty quickly. I ordered the BBQ chicken and short ribs, and my wife got the salmon poke bowl. She really enjoyed the poke bowl—lots of protein, and they didn’t skimp on the toppings at all.

My dish was also good. The short ribs were a little chewy, and the chicken could’ve had a bit more flavor, but if you’re really hungry like I was, it definitely hits the spot. It’s definitely quantity over quality, but still worth it.

We also tried the spam musubi, which was good, though the sauce was more drizzled on the rice instead of coating the spam. Overall, it was a good experience and we will definitely return!“

“Poke House is a bit out of the way for me, but I have religiously returned over and over again as the freshness and flavor are the best around!
I never thought I would like the zucchini noodles bet they are a great addition with sushi rice!
