“Came here for a friend catchup and we got seated and had a reservation beforehand.
Good:
- The ramen came out very quickly - I got the classic ramen bowl
- The portion size was good - I was very full by the end
- A nice place to catch up - it's got japanese izakaya vibes and more dimly lit
Bad:
- The soup was really salty so it felt like it was unhealthy to drink too much of it
Overall this was a solid place to have an extended catch up and the ramen was quick and tasty.“

“Ordered the mini bbq chicken plate. Everything is to-go, since there's no indoor seating. The staff does a good job of helping you quickly and remembering who ordered what. Food was simple, but very tasty. If I lived closer by, I'm sure it would be in my rotation of comfort food.“

“This is the only remaining good, food restaurant outlet left in the building. They have fresh fish, fresh ingredients and reasonable prices with no lines, unfortunately. You should change that and go get a great healthy tasty meal from them for round $15“

“Hi City Poke nails that true island flavor! The owner is from Hawaii and brings all the aloha with him — super friendly, down-to-earth, and clearly passionate about sharing good food.
The poke itself? So ono. Fresh, flavorful, and totally legit. You’ll find classic Hawaiian-style fish alongside “mainland” toppings — because, as the owner said, “you gotta give the city what it wants.” But don’t worry, purists — the foundation is all Hawaii.
It’s quick, delicious, and feels like a little taste of home“

“Amazing Poke bowls (Honolulu is my favourite!) and really great service at the Filmore location :) Bonus for their Facebook page/messaging for their quick response about a lost item!“

“Very generous portion and I really loved the chicken 😭 I live very close by and only discovered this place very recently. The signature dish (I believe is BBQ combo) is awesome if you just need a super charge of proteins and carbs after a long day of work or workout. I will definitely come back haha“

“Visited in the late afternoon so I can’t speak for how much it can get at lunch or dinner time. It’s been a while since I’ve been here so I forgot you ordered on a card then submitted it to the staff before paying.
My bowl: half white rice, half kelp noodles, cucumber, red onion, jalapeños, spicy tuna, spicy house poke sauce, creamy wasabi, edamame, kimchee, furikake.“

“Really solidly good Hawaiian food. I had family visiting from France who wanted to try Hawaiian food and they loved it! Especially high praise coming from Parisians used to amazing restaurants. It's a small place and nothing fancy but the food is really, really good. If you haven't been, you should definitely try it!“

“Great value and really good Hawaiian plate lunch. Had a bbq combo plate between two people and were both full after. Looking forward to coming back! Can’t wait to try the spam musubi next time, saw a guy order one extra crispy and he gave us a knowing nod.“

“Yay for Poke Bowl! They can serve into your own container so you don't generate any trash! Their portions were just fine (I got a medium size order and it filled my largest bowl so glad I did not get the largest one). The woman who made it did a very good job making sure she got everything on my list. I'm really glad they have brown rice and lots of different mix in options. I think she may have forgotten a sauce at the end after she added the Unagi, but it was still very tasty anyway so I did not mind. The atmosphere/decors was pretty flat with some of the front used for storage but the food and service were great!“

“Consistently delicious poke! Not fancy, but always fresh and really fairly priced. I love getting the build-your-own poke bowl, plenty of sauce and flavor without being overwhelming. The spam musubis are all great too (I’ve tried the classic, fried, and spicy). It’s family-owned and operated, which makes me even happier to support them. Perfect for takeout, though I’ll sometimes dine in for lunch (just note there isn’t a ton of seating).“

“Surprisingly solid poke vibe in the mall! I would say this is on par with some of my favorite poke places in the main SF city area. They have papers and pencils for you that you hand over for them to take your order.
Only drawback is that it’s in a mall food court in terms of atmosphere.“

“Ordered delivery on DoorDash and I don’t know if this is the regular serving size or it’s because I placed my order just 10 minutes before they closed but wow generous serving size and delicious fish - great high quality ahhh!!
Fish in the box (lite) for $38. Great value imo“
