Unexpected stay due to both parents we were supposed to visit having Covid. We enjoyed the location close to our needs. We love Peets coffee and the bakery across the street. The health club and variety of classes and activities was excellent. We had a fabulous room for most of our stay. The hotel is clean and charming.
Being a guest at the resort many times over the years with superior service, so it was fun to be on the 1st Annual Haunted history tour of the establishment. Our tour guide was knowledgeable of the history and operation of the resort, plus the ghostly happenings that have occurred over the years. We tour several hallways and rooms where occurrences happened, in fact at one point my wife jumped from a vision. Everything is beautiful, staff was attentive and kind. I love that everyone seems to walk into the neighborhood from the hotel. We managed to squeeze in a couple of rounds of tennis between showers. We weren't able to get in with the spa as holiday hours were reduced, including tennis courts and pools. But we also got a deal on the room! The only surprise charge was for parking, had to pay for valet the first night as lot was full. Can't wait to come back.
