The BEST coffee I've ever had outside of Italy. A variety of rich, complex, nuanced roasts, plus a strong freshly brewed cup in-store. I have loved and been loyal to them since 1988 (formerly Royal, where the kind owner Michael was a baristo)
Long time fan of this place from back in the Royal days and now the Cole days...moving away has not stopped me from my favorite now and then the Peru..delivered by mail
Oh my gosh only my fave coffee shop in Oakland! Mike and the crew are amazing and I love the fresh ground coffee, I can't run out at home or its a bad thing. I also love the super cool collection of hard goods. All the best coffee brewing options. Keep up the great work friends!! Xoxo
