Went to the Berkeley location before it closed. The food is very good and the staff is even better. So friendly and hospitable. The lamb korma was my favorite dish and the father and son who work there always came by to chat and show their appreciation. Would definitely come here again.
The absolute BEST Indian food in the bay. HANDS DOWN. Always get the chicken korma. Garlic and regulate naan are no brainers. The buffet is also such a good option if you can make it during the buffet hours!!!!! Get the rice pudding dessert:)))
I’ve been eating here for years and it is the best or at least one of the best Indian restaurants in Berkeley. I have always had a great experience with takeout or eating in. Great place for vegetarian and nut free food.
