A small chirashi bowl with fewer than 10 pieces of sashimi costs $30, the same as the Unagi Don. While both dishes tasted good, they were on the expensive side. Salmon and Hirame nigiris are about the average.
I've been coming here since it opened years ago and it's one of my all time favorite spots. It's not my every-day sushi pick, it's my "I want the good stuff" spot. The fish is incredible quality. I typically get the chirashi because it's a great way to get a sample of some of their great fish, including some you may not typically get at other restaurants, plus they often include some of their incredibly tasty pickled veg and some shiso. Chef Jin is a true sushi master, and it shows in each handcrafted splendor served at Kamado. I’ve been dining here since the year they opened and can say unequivocally this is my favorite sushi spot in the bay!
