McDonald's in Berkeley

“The people reviewing this place are insane. This is by far the nicest McDonalds with the friendliest staff and the cleanest dining and bathroom area by a LONG shot. It’s a nice place for lunch break, the staff are really busy but kind. Genuinely never had a bad experience here. I even study here sometimes because of how nice and cozy it is. No outlets but that’s fine, this not a study cafe. McDonald’s food is McDonald’s (so don’t go in expecting sit-in restaurant quality), but they do it consistently and well, I practically live on the app and the $1 beverage deal and the McDouble. I come here like 5 times a week sometimes just for a coffee but I definite wouldn’t if it were any other McDonalds, so imagine my shock when I looked at the reviews haha. I’ve been to pretty much every other one in the area and this is the best, and it’s not even close“

“one of the more subpar mcds ive been to.. the nuggets here were a bit crunchier than when i got it elsewhere (maybe that place was soggier than the next mcds? idk).. it was good. i like crunchy. prrtty busy here--expected for a fast food place close to a university campus and in a downtown area. the staff is very on top of orders and works as quickly as they can, which is much appreciated! i was only a little bit put off when, at around 11 on some night, some guy came in and freaked it a bit... no worries though. i'm not typically a mcdonald's fan, but this experience by no means hurt mcd's standing in my personal ranking of fast food places. way to go! i am a bit sad that i did not get a straw for my slushes. it is ok though, i used a coffee stirrer as a spoon and only spent 40 minutes drinking my shusher. delicious!“
