“Superb! The food here is a dedicated, cohesive, nuanced Peruvian delight. If you want to be immersed in flavors and textures of Peru, do not miss this. Each bite - of everything - is an explosion of flavor. The service is perfection, and it has both indoor and parklet seating. There are also a few counter seats if you want to watch the chef make the magic happen. Cannot wait to return!“

“El Dorado is an absolute gem! I stopped by after work and tried the Pollo Causa and Lomo Saltado, hands down the best I’ve had in a long time. It’s tough to find those dishes done right, but El Dorado absolutely nailed it. Every bite was packed with flavor and clearly made with care.
What really made the experience stand out was Manny, the owner. He’s incredibly warm, welcoming, and passionate about what he does, you can feel that energy from the moment you walk in. The entire staff was just as friendly and attentive, which made the service top-notch from start to finish.
The ambiance? Stunning. Super cozy, vibrant, and totally Instagram-worthy, the kind of spot you want to bring friends to or just treat yourself. And don’t sleep on the Pisco Sours, they’re dangerously good and crafted to perfection.
Can’t wait to come back. El Dorado has definitely earned a spot in my regular rotation!“

“The service was top notch. We told our waiter this one was our first time and he explained the menu for both food and drinks. He also opened the door for us when we exited. Service definitely gets 5 stars.
However, there’s something wrong with the price on the menu vs what you will be charged. We ordered from the lunch especial menu which says items were $ 17.99 but we were charged 20 for one item and 18 for other two dishes. And the beverages were supposed be $4 based on the menu but were charged $6. May be they updated the price and forgot to update the menu?
Anyways two of the dishes fried rice and Marinated pork dishes were very salty. The bed of pasta with fish was very good but I wished the fish was basked instead deep fried. Purple corn drink was pretty good the waiter said it will be sweet and it was. If you don’t have a sweet tooth, you don’t probably want it.
Will try again sometime in the future.“

“Best kept secret of El Sobrante: El Chalan, Peruvian and Italian restaurant, offers a family atmosphere with great food at a good price. Warm bread and butter is served from the beginning. Their roast 1/2 chicken and whole fried trout, with home style french fries are very popular. Their sea food dishes, especially the seafood soups are delicious. The Italian food is also excellent. Butter nut squash raviolis, gnocchi, and spaghetti are cooked perfectly. Kids love this place.“

“Hard to find with only a small sign in the window. It is located in a coffee bar. The food was good. Order at the counter and food is brought to table. I went with 3 friends and we enjoyed our shared meal. Minus one star because I was overcharged and not given the happy hour price for the item I ordered.“
“I rarely post reviews but had to chime in as this was such an outstanding experience with Lima Peruvian! I catered an event in my home and the food arrived on time, piping hot, carefully marked for ingredients and allergens and was just so delicious. I received countless compliments and requests from guests to find out where the food came from. The order included a mix of meat, meatless and vegan offerings that really hit the spot. In particular, the Loma Saltado, Aji de Gallina (Creamy Yellow Chicken), Seco de Pollo (Green Herb Chicken), Vegan Split Pea Amarillo and rice were outstanding. Thank you Lima Peruvian!“

“We went to Peru over the summer so trying out local Peruvian restaurants and happy to have lunch here today. Still very new and a nice vibe. A great selection on their menu. I want to try more things on the menu, but the Paella was burnt on the bottom and had a strong smokey taste. Ceviche seemed to be in chunks and not easier to eat bite size pieces of fish that we are used to gettir. The yucca fries and the calamari were great. Excited to go back and try more options.“
