The roasted chicken sandwich is another popular option, with generous portions and tasty bread that holds the sandwich together. This busy lunch spot offers a rotating daily menu with salad, soup, and sandwich options, as well as a daily plate. The buttermilk sandwich is a creative dish that adds to the variety. While indoor seating is limited and can be noisy, outdoor seating is plentiful and perfect for enjoying a meal on a nice day. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, making it a great brunch spot in Berkeley. The staff is super friendly, providing kind service and bringing food and drinks to the table after ordering at the counter. The restaurant offers vegetarian options, including a well-composed vegetarian fritta. Chef Kelsey brings each flavor to a new level, creating inventive and locally sourced cuisine. Parking is convenient, and there is wheelchair accessibility with a ramp. The pana cotta dessert with cookies and berry compote is also super memorable and tasty, making this spot not to be missed.
