Absolutely lovely experience. I have dietary restrictions and eating out can be stressful because of that but the server instilled such confidence in me by taking my order with care and writing down all my food restrictions asking me questions and providing information about ingredients. He made me feel valued and respected rather than acting annoyed and put out like some servers have at other places when I bring up my food restrictions.

Sometimes the servers can be rude and will tell you they are closed an hour before the stated closing time. Other times the service is great, but they are a bit forgetful and can bring you the wrong rice or forget drinks.

We were looking for Thai food while wandering around Berkeley. Just ended up in here without a plan. What incredible luck to stumble across phenomenal Thai food. Sure, no bargain, but no good things come cheap. My food had lots of meat, veggies and tofu, was just the right spicy and came in generous servings. I don't know what they eat in Thailand having never been, but this is as good as any Thai food I've had in several western cities.
