The Butcher's Son Vegan Delicatessen & Bakery offers top-tier vegan eats with a focus on house-made meats. While prices may be a bit steep, the quality is well worth it. The menu features a range of options, including gluten-free choices, clearly labeled for dietary restrictions. Standout dishes include the Chickin Parm, garlic fries, and vegan buffalo sauce. Friendly and welcoming staff ensure a pleasant dining experience. With a lovely outdoor patio and full vegan menu, this spot is a must-visit for any vegan foodie. Many visitors praise the deli section, salads, and sandwiches, especially the jalapeño business sandwich, which is consistently delicious and often enjoyed multiple times. The vegan steak and egg sandwich on a hoagie roll is a favorite brunch item, and the Reuben sandwich is highly recommended, though on the richer side. The restaurant also offers many case items, including desserts, sauces, snacks, vegan meats, and vegan cheese, such as the Climax vegan blue cheese. The vibe is cool, with both inside and outside seating, and the logo and name are very memorable. The staff do a great job keeping the place clean, and many guests enjoy sitting on the back patio in the sun, especially for brunch. Overall, The Butcher's Son is considered a top vegan restaurant in the Bay Area, known for great flavors, substitutions, and a flexible menu that makes it a favorite for many.
