“Upper crust Pizzeria had one of the best pizzas ive ever tried ( says a New Yorker). It would be on top of Dave Portnoy’s list for sure :) thin, crunchy and tasty!
I got there 9:59 a min before closing time, the gentlemen’s were very kind and let me sit to finish up my meal. I really appreciate it as it was already late and I wasn’t able to do to go.
Definitely a must try, I will be back during the day for more amazing food.“

“It must be the best pizza restaurant, I know! The staff treat me nicely and with patience. As I waited for my order to serve, I sat to their chair and found out that their place was beautiful and comfortable to spend free-time and hang out. The pizza was good and delicious. I greatly loved spending my time at their restaurant. It was truly nice and wonderful. Till next time with you guys!“

“Absolutely delightful service & chicken! Make sure to check the counter for info on their combos and bentos since those are good deals for lunch. The portions are great, so an 8 piece is enough for 2 lunches, especially if you’re pairing it with rice or a salad. Will definitely be back.“

“One of the best places to get wings in the L.A area! First and foremost the restaurant was very clean. The food was made fresh not your typical fast food restaurant. If you looking for amazing look no further. Wings were seasoned and cooked to perfection. I recommend the lemon pepper dry rub, BBQ, and hot wings. Check it out for yourself.
Parking: There is free parking located in the back, side and the front of the restaurant has meter parking.“

“As an east coaster, finding a pizza I like in LA has been an uphill battle. This is by far the best pizza I’ve had out here. I got the Brooklyn style and the crust was chewy and perfectly charred, the sauce was flavorful, the cheese was good quality. Even after a ten min walk home it was still perfectly warm. The atmosphere inside the shop is really cute and the staff are all very kind. Felt like I was back home. Definitely my new go to spot“

“I’d say the food was slightly better than good. The chicken was moist and the batter had a good crunch but really lacking flavor. The fries were hefty and had a good crunch but also lacking flavor…
Not much in the realm of service, it’s in a food hall and fast food style, you get the food and find your own seat. This is relevant for the atmosphere as well, not much of an atmosphere to talk about.
Parking was across the street in a structure, were ate and walked around and it only cost $1“

“OHMYGOSSSHHH I have finally found a pizza that is deserving of the title of BEATS FLYING TO NEW YORK FOR THIS JOINT! Not only is the pizza absolutely delicious, the place is adorable, the music is dope, and the staff is angelic. If there is one place that I would recommend this year, this is it. TRY IT!“

“I strongly recommend this place! We ordered an extra large pepperoni and extra large meat lovers pizza. Both were very tasty. We also shared a Caesar salad that was beyond our expectations. This is a great place to sit down and eat a meal because the owner is very friendly and the restaurant is extremely clean. The parking was also very easy.“

“Korea comes to LA! The best Korean fried chicken I’ve tried so far. The bburinkle flavor is quite unique. This location is very close to The Grove! It’s walkable so it’s a good option if you are craving something different. Restroom is closed though? Not sure why but not only is it inconvenient, I’m not sure it’s up to code either.“

“Excellent food. Large portions. Nice lunch specials. But…. We were there for the TCM Film Festival. Went for lunch. Very slow service! Only one server. Luckily a Rockies game was on the tv, so we had something to keep us occupied. Probably better service at dinner time.“

“Wingopolis has some of the BEST Honey BBQ Chicken Wings you could ever put in your mouth!! It was well seasoned, succulent, tasty and just simply delicious. I ordered the combo, which comes with potato salad and ranch dip. The ranch dip is so good!! It really compliments the Chicken Wings even more. I also ordered the Honey BBQ Chicken Sandwich, which was Awesome! This sandwich has a nice crunch to it and comes with or without spicy/sweet pickels which makes it taste ever more amazing. I highly recommend eating at Wingopolis. You won't be disappointed!“

“I have tried the spicy chicken sandwich and the chicken tenders with fries from here. I have only ever ordered for delivery and not been to the physical location which is why the service and atmosphere are at 3 stars.
The spicy chicken sandwich was really good, this is definitely the item you want to try. I ordered the chicken tenders with Seoul spicy flavor and i was not a fan. I guess I’m comparing it to other fried chicken places which have thicker cuts of chicken, which is what I personally prefer for chicken tenders. The tenders came on a thick slice of toast bread which I loved. The fries were made so well and even after delivery were in excellent condition, I dipped them in the sauce which was provided and it only made it better. When it comes down to it I would definitely order from here again but stick to the spicy chicken sandwich, from the two things I’ve tried. I’ll be exploring the menu for sure, I’m looking forward to trying the original wings, popcorn chicken and loco fries.“

“This place is great! It's in a plaza, so there's plenty of parking. I had a single smash burger, fries, and the honey garlic chicken wings. The burger was loaded with topping and had great flavor. The wings were crazy crispy! The fries taste exactly the McDonald's fries, and I mean that in the best way. The service was so kind and the place was clean. It was such a great lunch place!“

“You ever go to a ‘New York pizza’ place and ask yourself “what the hell is this?” That won’t happen at this place lol. This is the real deal and they’re not even calling themselves New York pizza in order to sell bad pies. They’re proper pizza and the pizza is exactly that; proper. Delicious and possibly one of the best pizzas in all of Los Angeles.“

“I've ordered from here twice now and both times the pizza has been prepared perfectly. It's some of the better pizza I've had in Los Angeles with it's thinner, crispier crust and the perfect amount of cheese to sauce ratio. The wings are easily the best wings that I've had in LA, hot and crispy! If you enjoy the wings at Ye Rustic Inn, you'll love these!“

“quality ingredients, friendly people and great food. I am not a chicken breast guy and generally would never order it from a restaurant but this is hands down the best chicken breast I have ever had (it eats and is tender/juicy like a chicken thigh but it’s all white meat). Highly recommended, don’t forget the garlic sauce“

“Took the drive from Corona, CA.; and it was worth it! The overall experience was excellent! Customer service was on point, from the cashier to the gentleman that personally pulled out a table & cleaned it for me to sit at inside, due to, the patio being renovated. Tev was present wearing a smile, and of course, the food was delicious! I actually enjoyed the heck out of the broccoli… but those wings were to die for! The only thing that I would do different is ask for ALL flats being that they’re my preference. Summation, I would visit again! Thanks family for the warm welcome and some good home cooked food! ??“

“They smelled so good, it was almost impossible to wait until I got home to eat them! The wings range from average to BIG, they were cooked absolutely perfectly, the sauce (buffalo) was delicious, and the price per wing is pretty unbeatable at this time. Definitely give this place a shot if you're a wing fan!“

“I was worried because the review score was low, but it was really delicious. I ordered fried chicken and seasoned chicken, and the seasoned chicken sauce was super spicy... It was really deliciously spicy, and the fried food was delicious even when it was cold. I thought that when I go back to Korea, it would be nice if the Pelicana near my house tasted like this. And please get a stamp for 4 hours of free parking. Just bring your parking permit and go.“

“Wow, this is a small quaint little thai restaurant inside a plaza with ample
parking. There are adjoining restaurants, but why would I even try that when there is an authentic and delicious Thai restaurant right here. They do not skimp. Even though portions appear small, they're
not. I tried the Hainan 2 chicken combo and
enjoyed every bit of it. Down to devouring the rice, which I am not a big fan of rice in general. I ordered the grilled and fried chicken. I definitely come back again
Also, Thai Green Tea needs to be a thing! We
decided to order one and might as well add boba for me and it was so good too. Refreshing with soft Boba.
My appetite has been satisfied, and my stomach is very pleased.
I decided to try the Mango sticky rice too. The food here when it's delicious! l'll“

“Waka Waka, What a Burrito!
Stepping into The Alabi Room in LA feels like being teleported into an 80s arcade, minus the sticky joysticks and quarters clinking in your pocket. The retro vibe is strong, but nothing prepared me for their Pac-Man burrito, a culinary masterpiece that even Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde would chase after.
As I unwrapped the burrito, it looked like it could chomp through any maze. This thing was massive—so hefty that it could double as a free weight. Taking my first bite, I immediately understood why Pac-Man was always munching away. The flavors hit me like a power pellet: spicy, savory, and with a cheesy finish that made my taste buds do a victory lap.
Inside, it was packed with a colorful array of ingredients that seemed to pop out like bonus fruits in the game: tender chicken, zesty salsa, creamy guac, and enough beans to fuel a marathon of Pac-Man marathons. Every bite was a new level of flavor, with spicy jalapeños ghosting through the mix and crunchy lettuce adding a satisfying crunch.
Halfway through, I had to take a break. I felt like Pac-Man after clearing a maze, needing to catch my breath before diving back in. The burrito was relentless, and I started to wonder if I'd end up with a food coma that rivaled a Pac-Man game over screen.
By the time I reached the end, I felt like a champion. The Pac-Man burrito had been a formidable opponent, but I came out victorious (though a bit more stuffed than I'd anticipated).
If you find yourself at The Alabi Room, gear up and bring your appetite. The Pac-Man burrito is not just a meal—it's an adventure. Just be warned: it might have you seeing pellets and ghosts by the time you're done! Amazing ?“

“Saw reviews of the spicy pepperoni pizza and had to try. I was not disappointed! It was huge, medium thickness crust with delicious crispy edges and a delicious level of spice! We don't have anything remotely like this on Cape Cod, and will absolutely get it again when we come back. Thank you for such a delicious meal!“

“Ordered the snow crab boil and paid extra for peeled shrimp. Money well spent. Flavor and quality was the best I’ve had and I’m from the Bay Area so I know all about quality seafood. The only critique I have is the shrimps are so small- don’t skimp on the shrimo (?)! Lol. Yall should add prawns instead of the small shrimps bc they were not worth the extra $6. Also, parking is not the best. That parking lot with only a few spots for such a hot spot. Other than that, everything was great. I will definitely be coming back!“

“So, first off, NY style is not my favorite, I prefer a thicker crust with a chewy outside ring, and a good unhealthy blanket of cheese and sauce. In my area, that describes Fat Tomato in MdR, and especially Johnnie's, on the other side of Lincoln. My rating is based on the NY style, because if you put that on the same scale as wood-fired artisan pizzas, it wouldn't be fair, that's almost a different food group.
For some, NY is everything to them, and I'm sure you've seen the Evil Corp tube guy's reviews, he downgrades any pizza that isn't NY. So-called Neapolitan style starts out at an automatic 6.8, he would rate a mediocre NY over an accomplished pizza of another type, which is silly in my view. He loved Prime, but even setting my preferences aside (I won't commit the same crime), I can't agree.
First off, the crust ring was larger and more puffed up than I'm used to seeing on NY style, but still crunchy. That's not a bad thing in my book, and in practice, a lot of crusts seem to fit the category. I thought the crust was the best part.
The rest, not so much. It was oily on the surface, and apparently with so little cheese, the sauce carried the predominant color. I'm not use to seeing orange pizzas. There were also way too many mushrooms, which I realize is viewed as a sin by NY fanciers anyway, so never mind.
It did taste good, no problem there, and I liked the crust very much. So I guess I'll give it four stars, but in my universe, the kind of pizza I prefer, it would be be a three.
Oddly enough, the nearby pizza the famous YT reviewer hated was Upper Crust, which has a flat, crispy crust ring I most associate with NY style. It also looks better imho, and I like the taste (Prime is on the left in the photo, UC right). The problem is their very thin crust makes the pizza droopy, even though the bottom is well browned, which was intolerable to the YT reviewer. I agree UC is too floppy, they probably go too thin, but I much preferred that pizza to this. Sorry to Prime fanciers, that's my call.
Finally, there's that subject we don't talk about, refer pizza. When you buy a large, never mind two, some of it is going to end up in the fridge, and a cold pizza breakfast can be sublime. Oh sure, you can try heating it up, but even with a convection oven it's hit and miss. The super thin Upper Crust was one of the best refer pizzas I've ever had, the cheese solidified and cured the droop, and the crust ring even retained some crunch, great. Unfortunately, the Prime crust edge seized up and turned into leather, not that I found those browned mushrooms embedded in cold orange goo all that appetizing anyway. The leftover slices went into the trash chute, a sad end for any pizza.“

“Fresh Brother's Pizza is ever so yummy. You can eat in, take away or have it delivered. We like to eat there. The service is great. Everyone is really nice. They listen to you and get your order right the first time. We have been here a few times and have never been disappointed. The food is great, all of it. If you want a super thin pizza they have that, if you want deep dish they have that as well. We have had both because my grandson loves the really thin pepperoni pizza, I like a thicker crust. All of their toppings are very good. They have salads which are just amazing. So fresh and filled with fun stuff and they have a decent selection. We love their garlic knots and they have some meatballs that are out of this world. We also enjoy their sliders. The place is kept super clean, there is not a huge wait and you will be well cared for. Have the best time.“
