“I rarely eat at the same spot more than once, however I visited this establishment twice in a day!

I am very picky about my sweets and I am not a mango fan, but the mango cromuffin recommended by staff was the pastry that made me return. The mango tasted unexpectedly juicy and fresh, the exterior was crisp and flakey, and the pasty cream was luscious, achieving the perfect balance of sweet versus tangy. I am certain the other pasties are as well executed as the mango.

Additionally the owner was extremely personable and gave me a complimentary pastry with my order! All desserts were aesthetically crafted and presented elegantly behind a glass case. Everything looked too good to eat!

Note: For areas of improvement, I would recommend the rest of the staff be more hospitable- for example, I came in the store and several staff stared at me and did not smile or greet me for at least 7 seconds“

“Angel Maid Bakery has gone down hill a little bit. Their hours are not what they say and their lot for parking is very small.

That said, their service is still great and they are very nice.

They are limited in what they will do. If you bring in a photo of a cake you want, chances are they won't be able to do it. They do not do images at all. They have a book and you can pick a cake.

Their selection in store is very good, but I am so sick of most of them having a whipped cream frosting that you have to keep cold. I don't like cold cake. Their selection of butter cream is lacking.

They do have a nice selection of cupcakes with butter cream frosting which is great.

When you have them write on a cake you pre ordered you can tell they took very little time to do it, it is sloppy and there is nothing but what you told them to write. Most bakeries add a little flower or something to present the name.

I just had a lemon curd type cake from them and I noticed the sloppy writing and the cake was so sweet I could not eat it, and of course, it was cold.

I won't be back. That is sad. I will find another bakery that cares. But I still give them a 4 because I know a lot of people like sweet cakes with whipped cream frosting and their service is very good.“

“Emile's is a neighborhood gem. My favorite drink is their signature creamy foamy espresso and my favorite sandwich (so far) is the ham croissant. Their homemade pesto is to die for! Don't forget to grab dessert- I tried the classic cheesecake and it was simple and delicious. Emile's is high quality with no frills. Not only are their pastries eye catching and delicious, the staff headed by branch manager, Kimberly, are some of the warmest and most accommodating of any store I go to. On a couple of occasions I have ordered several boxes of pastries for clients and Kimberly was kind enough to let me order a couple of days in advance all I had to do was pick them up and there they were!
