I had such a great experience at Thelma’s! The food was amazing, came out quickly, and everything tasted fresh and homemade. The atmosphere was welcoming and made it a really enjoyable place to eat.

The highlight of the visit was definitely our waitress, Danielle. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed before we even had to ask. Her positive attitude and excellent service made the whole experience even better. Danielle went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and it’s clear she genuinely cares about her customers. We’ll definitely be coming back, and a big reason why is the outstanding service she provided!

I had a wonderful experience dining here. The food was good, and served quickly. The atmosphere was comfortable, and our server Danielle was AMAZING!!! She was so accommodating to my daughter’s allergies and made sure all of the precautions were taken. Her positive attitude and excellent customer service really made our dining experience even better.

Sammy is a great cook, and Danielle brings such a joy to breakfast that you just want to come back.

I really love the atmosphere and service. It is also nice to have a place you can talk or just eat quietly.

Great family owned restaurant by mark n family. .. Sammi a fantastic cook everyone knows for years.. Rhonda n Danielle fantastic servers n very personable on there service n attentiveness.. great backroom that anyone can reserve for gathering as I have for Xmas party n bdays... beautiful great outside patio area for those with pets too.home baked house pies n goods

Our first disappointment in Big Bear over the last 5 months of living here and trying different restaurants. Maybe we just ordered the wrong items? Came for lunch and ordered the French dip and my wife ordered BLT with side salad. Salad was just some inner (mostly white) lettuce leaves with few croutons, period. Frech dip looked like it was off a kids menu. I few dry slices in between a mini sized bun. Felt the food had very little effort or love put in to make it.

Sadly their posted hours are wrong and they are closed SAT/SUN? We made a special trip here and got dropped off by the Uber before realizing Thelma was not open. The food is worth the trip IF they could post accurate hours on Google maps AND on their doorsube even on their sign that would be extremely helpful to their customers. It's like being punished for wanting to patronize your business.
