“A no nonsense taco shop that feels exactly as you want it. From the laminent booths to the hand written specials to the board of items lit up thats a bit too old.

Price was excellent, food was great, the salsa bar was STOCKED.

I had the carne Asada plate and an al pastor taco. The carne Asad plate was large fresh and cheap. The beans and rice were as expected and the Pico de gallo was top notch.

The al pastor left something to be desired. It wasnt bad, but it tasted more like I would expect chorizo to taste. Not bad, just not the best pastor I've encountered.

Even during the lunch rush the staff was friendly and prompt.

Onion rings are a must too. Spicy chicken burger was okay but I would pass on the black bean burger which was too salty.Warning, parking is limited to home owners during weekends and holidays. Hands down the best GF scones I have ever had (and I live in NYC). I’ve had the breakfast sandwich with gluten free bread twice now and it’s been amazing. Delicious GF/ vegan brownies, GF cookies and wedges (GF biscuit with bacon, cheese, chives). Sally and the entire staff have been so lovely every time we’ve been in - our new friends in town!! “We stopped by for lunch and had a great experience. Food was served hot and service was great. They had vegan options and a kids menu to choose from. It was about 10 mins from the Tesla supercharger at Groveland.

The view from the balcony was beautiful and we could spot deer and some wild geese. I would highly recommend visiting this place.

“I've been enjoying the dark oily Italian Roast from Mother Lode Coffee daily since 1998. Loved this one so much I would even drive up from the Bay Area to Sonora to buy it in the 2lb bag for a few years until i found it for sale in a couple of markets in the East Bay. One of the best 'perks' of living in the Gold Country. Highly recommended!”
