“This place was amazing! We got there a little late as a local road was out but they understood completely and seated us with a stunning view. The sunset perfect and then the transition from that to the moon coming up wow!! The waiter treated us like old friends and helped us with some amazing choices. “This was a great way to wrap up our wine tasting in Carmel Valley. You order at the counter, then take your number and find a place to sit. They will bring the food out to you, but you are on your own for keeping your water filled and getting napkins, utensils, etc.

The food was simple (grilled cheese with sun dried tomato pesto and the side of meatballs), but the quality and taste were on point. Two of us split these, and we each had a glass of wine (great selection of area wineries).

It was recommended to by Pyper at Sardine Factory, and we thank her for that.“

But it's really all about the decorations!! The ceiling and walls are covered in old boots, animal skins, animal heads, signs, saddles, horns, pictures, chairs, hats, etc. etc. etc.

We were told by two locals during our wine tastings that this is the bar all locals come to at night.

The service was excellent!! Really wish I remember the server's name, but she has as much character as the restaurant does!!! Loved chatting with her. She gave us some excellent wine tasting recommendations too!!“
