“WOW! The pizza crust is absolutely the best we have ever had - and that includes Chicago and New York Pizzas!! There are lots of options for meat lovers and vegetarians. Three people in our party loved the combo pizza and I loved the vegetarian. All customizable. Art, the owner, is fantastic - he is all about customer satisfaction AND IT SHOWS! Well done!!! As of December 2025 he is working on a new website so do not be discouraged if the link does not work right. Just go and try the pizzas! The best in Gridley, CA! In talking with Art one in our party made suggestions about making the sauce a little spicier. I loved Art's answer - "Yes I can BUT I found one piece of red pepper for a child is too much. We have the jar on every table to season to suit everyone's palate." What a great response and it shows how much he takes all his customers into consideration - old and young alike! Los Compadres for over 15 years. I have found that the best time to go is when Memo and/or Angie is working. At this time they are off on Mondays and Tuesdays, which is not the best time to go there. I have found the staff and the owner to be very rude and at times the owner will scream and yell at you to leave. In my opinion he should retire. Memo and Angie will go out of there way to treat you with respect and give you fast and courteous service. Again, after 15 years of being treated well by Memo and Angie please don't hold any of the bad treatment on Mondays and Tuesdays against them. They are very good people.”

Also the best carnitas in town on Saturday and Sunday. And for that horrible hang over get your freshly prepared menudo on Sundays”
