“I went to The Hat to celebrate my buddy Gene's 80th birthday. The Hat is one of his favorite eateries. The place is CLEAN, the service friendly and efficient and fast, and the atmosphere friendly. The place was packed for lunch. I enjoyed their Pastrami Dip and yummy onion rings (small order, which was AMPLE!). Gene enjoyed his Steak sandwich and crispy French fries. “I recently visited this restaurant, expecting it to be just another breakfast spot, but I was genuinely surprised. The portions were generous—my wife and I only managed to eat half of our food, and I was only able to finish one pancake. Everything tasted great, except for the bland biscuits and gravy, but other than that, they would have truly earned five stars. The service was friendly, and our food arrived at a good pace, making our experience even more enjoyable.“

“From Santa Clarita, just in for the day, found this place. The food was out of bounds, had the chilaquilles red, amazing, beans were smooth, and eggs scrambled, hands down, 1 of the best I've had. Wife had Pancakes with Sausage and Eggs, took 3 bites of the pancakes and was blown away. The other reviews from other people commented on the pancakes, they were right in the money, stayed hot, amazing melted butter, and real maple syrup, fantastic. The waitress was awesome, friendly, and food arrived very fast. A must stop for breakfast for anyone.“

“First time here. Came for my birthday with 14 people and our wait was a little less then 45 min on a Saturday at 6pm.
We were seated in a perfect location we had different servers and they accommodated 5 separate bills. That makes it so much easier.

The food was delicious!! Huge portions. The youngsters finished their food but us older folks would have been able to share. Worth it though. Drinks were great. Had the Big Stick with literally a big stick ice cream in it. The guys drinking beer just wishes the mugs were a bit slimmer because so heavy to lift and sheer plus just a bit uncomfortable to drink out of but hey it's good beer they can't complain.

“Pretzelmaker is so underrated.

I’ve had Auntie Anne’s and Wetzel’s Pretzels but nothing compares to Pretzelmaker. What stands out is that Pretzelmaker soft pretzels are fluffier and lighter, and have a better overall taste IMO. They are what I describe as “pillowy goodness” and they always come out piping hot!

Pretzelmaker is located in the lower-level of the Moreno Valley Mall next to Macy’s. Pro-Tip: Park in the lot between the Macy’s and JC Penney stores. There’s an entrance that leads you down a corridor closest to Pretzelmaker.

Because the pretzels are made fresh to order, there is a bit of a wait time. But the wait is always worth it.

My favorite items to get are:
* Mozzarella Stuffed Pretzel Bites with Pepperoni (buttered, Unsalted)
* Pretzel Bites

The lady (owner, maybe?) who’s been making the pretzels does a fantastic job kneading the dough and making these delightful bites!

And — shhh —- they are the perfect treat to take inside Harkins movie theater (in your purse, of course). Much more satisfying than popcorn!
