“This is the local bar where everybody comes and feels welcome. The staff here are the most warm, sweet, welcoming and wonderful people to tend bar. They have karaoke nights, a digital jukebox, pool tables and tvs. It's a simple menu, beer and wine and beat boxes and some mixed drinks, but not a full bar. They have chips and beef jerky for snacks. People dance here, make friends, hang out outside and talk and horses even mosey on up to the bar. The best taco stand around is across the street and you can bring outside food in here. If you wanna homey and warm feel come here any night. Parkong is good and overflow down the street. Some nights it's crowded and some it's quiet and in between too. This is the bar that can be your regular bar. I've lived in many states and only been to a few bars this cool. Come in, I recommend a monkey d@#$ or a beat box in a tall mug. You'll relax immediately. They take cash and card too.“

“I came to The Legion Bar to celebrate a friend's birthday. It was our first stop (of many) on a "Tiki-Themed" birthday bar crawl. From the outside, Smuggler's Cove doesn't look like much but they used some sort of magic to completely transform the inside to transport you and make you feel like you're at an island paradise.“

“I have talked with the new owner of the place and he seems to have a good handle on what is needed for the bar to make it a great experience. I could dock the star count for the small stuff like not having food or small bathrooms, but the overall feel of the place and the prices can't be beat! New management has a lot to get through and I wish him the best of luck into what he has planned. Look forward to my next visit to one of the better dive bars I have been to; maybe that experience will be even better than the one I had <3“

“Well prepared food served efficiently and the staff was friendly and on top of it. There were 4 individuals that serviced our table and asked if we wanted refills and bussed our table completed by the end. Nice place my family missed the shuffle board table. “I'm going to start off with I love the food. This is my 2nd time there. A week and a half ago we were there with a party of 15. The food was great but our food came out so sporadically my dad was getting his food as everyone was done eating, my best friend had to ask for her coffee three times. And personally me being a server I understand big parties are hard to serve sometimes if you're not experienced. Syrup came out 7 minutes after we got the waffles on the table. I know its a small place and maybe be hard to get 15 people feed at once. So today I just came back with my son today food was still good. I got green chilaquiles again and we were a little late for breakfast so my son tried the torta. Meat (asada) on the torta is super flavorful and very tender. Server seemed maybe new. I requested green sauce I got red sauce so they had to fix it. I requested a Coke or a Dr Pepper in a fountain drink. I got a bottle coke so I had to ask for a fountain drink (because last time the the server asked if I wanted a fountain drink or a bottled coke but I couldn't remember Pepsi vs coke). Server wasn't rude or anything just not seasoned. Patio is nice on cooler days they did turn the fans on while we were sitting there. Prices are good for the quality of food.“

“I had the privilege of chillin' at this bar over the weekend. The Modelos are only $10 so I left a 20% tip. They have a dance floor, full bar with cocktails. They have a pool table, four tv screens and booth seating for groups. I rate this place 5 stars. I highly recommend. I could vape some nicotine in here. The female bar tenders are very nice and hospitable as well. They have an A+ rating from the health department. CASH ONLY. The atm costs $5 service fee here.“

“First time here. I’ve been looking for a Mariscos spot since I moved out here from LA. This place is incredible. The aquachile tostada was delicious. The owner had me sample their new fried shrimp. It’s was out of this world!! Full of flavor, crispy and spicy with their diablo sauce on the side. Highly recommend this place. I will definitely be coming back.“
