“A perfect cafe, if such a thing can exist. Warm, wonderful, artful space with cool art and a great outdoor space. A great Skatepark right next to the cafe surrounded by redwood trees. The owners are the sweetest couple, the food is SO GOOD. Try the Beach Laffa, you’ll be glad you did. This is the only place in a 50 mile radius that can make a perfect Oatmilk cappuccino.“
“What a great find. We were in the area and the other restaurant we'd planned to get breakfast at was closed, so we had to find a last minute alternative. We should have just planned on the Altamont in the first place - great coffees, delicious, fresh breakfast menu (and pastries), and just overall a really cool space with friendly staff. If we lived nearby we'd be in here weekly.“
“Foam on the short pull espresso was phenomenal paired alongside a Nutella croissant topped with toasted almonds and powder sugar on a Tuesday morning followed by a brief read of a book. Nothing like the patio where it all conjured a memorable experience. May this place remain a gem on the way to the Oceanside.“
“One of the best cups of coffee I’ve ever hadUpdate 5 years later: I still think about this coffee (it was the pour over) to this day. Context: I was cycling down the west coast on my own and had hit a stretch of rain, misery and loneliness. Dare I say, this cup of coffee restored my soul.“
“We enjoyed our breakfast in the dining room. The breakfast burrito is massive and my husband was defeated by it. The biscuits and gravy were also a highlight. The fresh juices were delicious! Staff were friendly and the food came quickly. Would definitely come again if we're back in the area.Kid-friendliness: High chairs and booster seats available“
“Stopped in for the first time this morning, was pleasantly surprised by this local gem. Nice people working, the owner shows real pride of ownership with this establishment. Clean bathroom, good coffee, nice snack, regulars are welcoming, highly suggest you give it a try. We will be back.“
“Great little spot on the north side of Bodega Bay off of route 1. It has a little restaurant, a coffee shop, and a gift shop in three separate small buildings. We ordered the fish & chips and the fish tacos. Both were pretty good. The homemade tartar sauce had a unique flavor and really went well with the fish. The parking is right off route 1, which I would imagine is crazy packed during high season. Great place to stop with a nice outdoor patio! Decent wine selection by the glass.“
