This time, I decided to stay a few days at the new Home collection lodging and the getaway was completely remarkable. “We hired Huria's catering for the rehearsal dinner for our wedding and we couldn't be happier we chose to work with them! The pizza was so delicious - they served the Margherita, the Chateau Rouge, and the 3.99 and our guests couldn't stop raving about them!! We also picked the Dates & Greens salad and the hummus which were great foods for guests to eat and chat, and the hummus was perfect for dipping pizza crusts into. They have a lot of really good veggie / vegan / and gluten free options and were very accommodating to our guests with food restrictions.

Beyond the pizzas, the Huria's team (Adriana and Mohaimen) were so wonderful to work with, really warm, communicative, and patient with our last minute changes and additions. Their setup with the Pizza oven is so charming and would look lovely in any venue. If you're considering Huria's to cater your event, consider the search over and book them already! You'll be so glad you did!“

“My husband and I ended up getting lost. We ended up in forestville, I personally wanted a coffee and he suggested ice cream. We ended up at this quaint little shop. I personally don’t like a big crowd, my anxiety tends to get the best of me. There was a worker there who was just an absolute gem that I still haven’t stopped raving about. Kali was gracious, knowledgeable and just so charismatic. She made this environment friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend to anyone. Also to add, I forwent the coffee and got a scoop of snow hopper. Delectable! If you haven’t been, I highly recommend. We will be back!“

“My friend and I shared a wine tasting which consisted of three small glasses of tasting size. You get to pick the three wines that you want. Not a huge selection., but works. We decided to eat there and I got the crabcakes which were pretty tasty a spicy sauce on top, and there were bell peppers and with the crabcakes. My friend got salmon with the skin was very crispy which he likes but the inside was too rare and he had to ask them to cook it more. It came back, still a bit too rare, and we fed that to the seagulls….The couscous salad that came with it was the best thing of all. I would not run back there but if you’re hungry and in that exact area, it’s a convenient place to grab a bite to eat. They have a couple of different patios outside, and the staff was very friendly. The one remark my friend said was that if they’re going to leave the salmon that raw like they said they usually do, they should ask people how they like it cooked. He loves sushi, but it was too rare for him being that it was salmon. It was a great day to get away from the high heat of Sonoma. We went from the 90s to the 60s wearing a jacket. He had never gone by the school house from Alford Hitchcock The Birds, so we did that on the way out.“

“I called ahead to see if it was alright for Drakes to hold a cake for me for a day which I was told was fine. Upon arrival, the hostess made me feel like I was a massive burden informing me that they in fact don't do that but they could be so kind as to do it just this once. They even went as far as to ask who I spoke to like I was making this up. If you're in the business of hospitality and you're going to accommodate me anyways why do you need to make me feel like a burden. I'll probably never ever want to eat there again. Despite the food being great, the hostesses hospitality entirely turned me off of ever staying at Drakes or dining there.“

Food was delicious, sadly the service/bartender was less desirable and not helpful, at all, we seemed more of an inconvenience to him. He had an attitude. Thankfully, the girl was much nicer behind the Bar.“

“We celebrated our 54th anniversary at Drakes's and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our waitress, Lizette was very personable and attentive. She made good wine and menu suggestions. We felt welcome and special right away by her acknowledging our anniversary and bringing us a Champagne pour for a toast. The meal was delicious and the ambiance was romantic and scenic. Lizette made our celebration special for us when she brought us desert and another congratulations on our 54 years!! We highly recommend Drake's! Lizette made it special!“
