“Chef Joann was an absolute pleasure to work with. When we first reached out to Chef Joann, she was a little bit out of our price range, but she was able to work with us and our budget in order to be the caterer for our wedding. We went and met Joann and did a food tasting with her and she was so hospitable and nice we knew we had found the caterer for us, not to mention the food was absolutely amazing. Luckily, Chef Joann had worked our venue before so that took all the worries and stress from trying to plan and connect her with our venue and coordinator. She was able to work with us, even through all the craziness of 2020 and we were able to figure out a way to make things work efficiently and safely without jeopardizing the layout or food. The bartenders she was able to bring went above and beyond and really helped to get the party started for our wedding. They were constantly bringing my wife and I drinks as we would be empty handed and socializing with our guests. It was really cool how well the entire crew took care of not only us but all of our guests. With me being the wayI am, I wanted to help Joann and her crew and she would joke with me to be quiet, have fun and get married. It really felt like a family member or close friend was there, had our back and was taking care of us. It was a really cool dynamic and took all the stress out of the day. The food Joann conjures up is not easily put into words. The appetizers she did for the cocktail hour as well as the cheese boards she created for each table were astounding. They were above and beyond anything we had expected. I had guests coming up to me all night commenting on how amazing the cocktail hour was along with the dinner. We are so happy we picked Joann to take control and be a part of our big day. I would highly recommend Joann to anyone who wants amazing a delectable food from someone who is so easy going and easy to work with, you feel like you have known them for years. “Easily one of the best tacos de birria in San Diego County, and honestly it beats many locations down in Tijuana. It’s a small place, very friendly vibe, and the food is exceptional. The issue would be the language barrier if you don’t speak Spanish but honestly, so long as you articulate your order well-enough it’ll be enough.“

Their ability to be flexible while we re-arranged the order of our wedding to work with gaps in the weather was so appreciated. “Bella Beverage team was amazing at our wedding in June. We had to hire them two weeks before and as stressful as that was, they were super helpful. They were extremely organized beforehand and helped us create a shopping list, and during the wedding day they were super attentive and made sure all my guests had amazing cocktails. “Sean and his team are truly amazing! We hired them for our rehearsal dinner which took place at my grandparents house. They were able to pull up right in the driveway and guests meandered between the backyard and driveway to grab slices as they wished. I am personally vegetarian and my favorite was the pesto vegetarian pizza. It was so light and delicious! Everyone had great things to say about the honey jalepeno, and even the gluten free guests had great reviews. It felt like Sean was the host of the party, you can tell he truly loves his job and loves talking to people. They set up and cleaned up so quickly I hardly even knew where they arrived/left, it was like magic whisked them away. They made so much pizza most of us took some home afterwards. “Vendors, caterers, please please please listen to your clients, no matter how unusual their requests may be lol. I had a 90s themed birthday party for my 40th and wanted to be as on-brand as I could, and for me, that meant cafeteria food! lmao. I don't know how many caterers I reached out to and explained this to only for them to try to sell me tacos, tell me it was "too many options," or try to upsell me on hand-passed appetizers and food that was just not what I had envisioned. Originally, Luis had sent me a draft menu consisting of sandwiches and chips. Close but not quite there. After perusing their menus on their website I realized what I had wanted was all basically food from their kids menu! I reached out and let Luis know, almost expecting to be told they would not cater kids food for adults, but nope! Luis was more than accommodating and worked with me to curate a menu exactly as I had wanted it, down to the cafeteria trays and ice cream cups. I cannot thank Luis and his team enough for bringing my vision to life and not looking down their noses at it! Not only that, but everything was so flavorful. I had intended to bring home whatever leftovers there were so I could scarf down all the chicken tendies I could at 3 am lol, but my guests beat me to it! Everyone kept talking about the seasonings used and how tasty everything was. And I'm talking sliders, empanadas (think calzones), chicken tenders, fries, mash, and veggies! Thank you Eleazar Catering for helping make my party so epic! Cannot wait to work with you again in the future!“

“I recently hosted a milestone birthday party at a home in La Jolla and celebrated with 70-80 of my closest friends. ;) “Tacos and Gorditas” was recommended to me by a friend for taco catering. I’m glad I chose them as I was *not* disappointed, nor were my guests! The workers were on time, kind, gracious and stayed until all of my guests were stuffed with all the tacos, beans, rice and guac that they could handle. The tacos were delicious and the service was on point. And the pricing was very reasonable. 😃🌮 Also, all of the communication leading up to the event was super easy and mostly by email. I highly recommend this catering business. I will use them again for future events and will refer them to my friends.“

“If you don't know what wood fired pizza is you'd think it's burnt. It's not Dominos pizza it's artisan pizza cooked in high temperature oven with that perfect char. We met them at the Holiday Market at Petco Park and they were a well oiled machine. The entire staff looked super happy and their customer service was top notch! Can't wait to try again! We worked with Christine throughout the entire process. She made things so easy for us, gave great recommendations, was transparent, and put up with all of our nitpicking!

On our big day, we had so many compliments on the food! Both the Creole Style Short Rib with Chive and Bay and the Chicken and Smoked Andouille Jambalaya were the biggest hits! Our loved ones were coming up to us just to tell us how great the food was! The short rib was super tender and had the perfect amount of flavor while the jambalaya was perfectly cooked with just the right hint of spice.

While we knew the food was delicious since we tasted it beforehand, what surprised us even more was how much our guests raved about it. We even had guests come up to us asking about how they ensure future weddings have the same food!

“This place has been pulling up to my apartment almost weekly and I decided to give it a shot tonight. Admittedly I wasn’t expecting much, I was wrong. IT.WAS.AMAZING. I have lived in San Diego for my whole life and this was hands down the best quality quesabirra tacos I’ve had from a taco truck. Food was amazing price for the portion size. Definitely will be back to try more! Oh and the churros are really good too!
