Has the perfect little dive bar vibe but I can also get a nice cocktail with no hassle if that's what I'm feeling that night. Bar tenders are always cool. “This is a staple in Carlsbad and it seems the people who have problems are expecting something different than what Golden Tee is or are a high maintenance problem themselves. This is a dive bar and it’s meant to be a dive bar. If you want something else, go to the village or a hotel bar. The bartenders here work incredibly hard, and deal with problematic people in a swift but courteous manner. The drinks are always poured correctly, the tab is always correct. They’re professional and I have never felt unsafe here even at night stopping in by myself. Both male employees with long hair and the bald Mexican guy have always been fantastic and take care of business. Recommend this place if you’re in a no frills, calm mood just looking to be comfortable. Great job, guys!“

“This is my favorite Thai restaurant in the North county area. I mostly do takeout from this place, but it is a great experience dining in as well. Food is delicious and portions are generous. I also highly recommend appetizers and dessert here. My go to is the drunken noodles or massaman curry, but everything else I've tried was amazing. Service is fast and friendly, there is rarely a long wait for food or drinks.“

Wood fried type. It was good! But what made it super memorable was our hostess Sean. His demeanor and warm welcome. We felt as if we met a friend. He had a diet coke pitcher that surprised us!
