“The workers at this establishment are absolutely amazing and I’ve given me the best service at a pizza place I’ve ever had, The fact that they’re able to constantly manage everyone while being in such a busy packed room, getting me exactly what I needed when I asked for 3 dressing and a sauce on the side. The smiles in here don’t go unseen, and the atmosphere shines bright. Fast and efficient service and a pizza, especially the crust is made with precision and love! “Tried the penne alla vodka (switched penne with Spaghetti) and Rigatoni alla Boscaiola. Both of them are very good, creamy and flavorful.

Tiramisu is very good and perfect, and it tasted like home made with a balance of cream and bread. The strawberry cheesecake gelato is a must try too!!“

“We had a delicious and wonderful experience at Giovanettis. We were welcomed in to the restaurant with a smile and friendly Hostess who later went over the daily specials with passion. Her passion for the food and the description of each dish was inspiring.
Our server was great - turned us on to a delicious wine from Sicily which was surprisingly reasonably priced. I had the Salmon alla checca. Wow was this delicious! The Salmon was cooked perfectly and the pasta had a fresh tomato, garlic, basil topping, light on the oil. This was a perfect dish. Prior to the pasta we started with a salad and bread - The salad was fresh, crisp, flavorful with a yummy light dressing and the bread was served with real butter, not whipped or altered just real butter - delicious.
Service was impeccable and the food outstanding. We are new regulars!“

The arancini was crisp on the outside with a very thin layer of rice and was oozing with filling of cheese and spinach a the carbonara was perfection with no cream and the creaminess of egg yolks and pasta water. “My wife and I had an incredible first experience at Anila’s Cucina Rustica, and it definitely won’t be our last. We even had the pleasure of meeting Chef Anila herself, which made the evening feel even more special.

We started with the burrata and caponata with eggplant appetizer fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. I had the braised short rib and the zuppa di pesce, both outstanding. The short rib was tender and rich, and the seafood in the zuppa was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. My wife ordered the penne alla vodka and loved every bite.

What really sets this place apart is the feeling. Chef Anila has such a warm, homey presence, like a mother cooking with love for her family. You can taste that care in every dish. From the fresh bread and butter to the attentive and friendly service, everything was thoughtful and welcoming. From the moment they took my name down to the time we finished our meal, we felt genuinely taken care of.

“Most in our party have been to the larger Vigiluccis in Carlsbad. We all unanimously prefer this smaller one. If you love teal Italian food, this is your place. No touristy fettuccine Alfredo. But real dishes like an expertly prepared oso bucco, and a Venetian pasta del mare. Our waiter Stephano has been there for over 20 years. At first he seemed a bit closed and tired. But our group was so bright & engaging that even Stephano couldn't resist sharing his family stories with us. Overall, the restaurant is perfectly adorable and everyone was really great with us.“

“My experience here was nothing short of perfection. This was my first time coming here. I was on my way home from a completely horrible day at work when I saw this shop. When I entered, I was met with smiles and warm greetings. The owners were very nice, outgoing, bubbly and attentive. Their food menu had a lot to offer, there weren’t any prices on the menus but they had a large selection. The shop was very cute on the inside and seemed very clean. I will definitely be back as I shared a love of excessive amounts of garlic with the owners! My pizza was amazing and probably the best pizza I’ve had in a long time. Their ranch was to die for!!!!! This definitely made my day 100% better.“

“Hi y’all, I’m not from this area, as a matter of fact I can’t even remember the last time I was. However my wife had passed through here several months earlier and had the pleasure of spending a little time here at Marco’s Pizza.

It was such a great experience for her we decided to make it a point to visit and pick up a pizza, some of those cheesy breadsticks and the chicken wings. Once again Marco’s delivered an amazing meal.

We are on a 3 day conference for our church and were delighted to find out It was right down the road from this Marco’s.

The staff is super friendly, and the food is absolutely fantastic. We had a few miles left in our 178 mile trip to the hotel but we knew we were going to stop off at this particular location to pick up some dinner before we arrived at the hotel.

Do your stomach a favor, stop in and buy anything, you will be amazed. Did I mention the staff is great?

The atmosphere is fantastic—there is nothing like overlooking the ocean while enjoying a fine meal—and the service was both amazing and attentive. The fillet mignons were cooked to perfection and delicious. We did add the shrimp, which were a bit disappointing as they were overcooked and chewy, especially at $10 each. However, overall the food was excellent. While it is on the higher end price-wise, I would certainly recommend it for a special occasion.“

One thing I didn’t like was the alarm that goes off every time the front door opens. I understand that it probably comes as a result of times where employees don’t quickly get to the front. It just kind of makes it seem like they’re being summoned like a butler.. they’re people doing a job.. but ok.. The job that they did do was very well done“
