“The workers at this establishment are absolutely amazing and I’ve given me the best service at a pizza place I’ve ever had, The fact that they’re able to constantly manage everyone while being in such a busy packed room, getting me exactly what I needed when I asked for 3 dressing and a sauce on the side. The smiles in here don’t go unseen, and the atmosphere shines bright. Fast and efficient service and a pizza, especially the crust is made with precision and love! “We had a luncheon here after my husband’s funeral. We booked a banquet room for 75-100 people. Gwen was amazing! The room, the tables, service, bartender & the food, everything was perfect. We added a few pizzas when we got there & again, it was no problem. This was a really tuff day for our family and friends and Ciao’s team, especially Gwen, helped us to celebrate a beautiful man and a life well lived. Highly recommend for your special event.

“We had a delicious and wonderful experience at Giovanettis. We were welcomed in to the restaurant with a smile and friendly Hostess who later went over the daily specials with passion. Her passion for the food and the description of each dish was inspiring.
Our server was great - turned us on to a delicious wine from Sicily which was surprisingly reasonably priced. I had the Salmon alla checca. Wow was this delicious! The Salmon was cooked perfectly and the pasta had a fresh tomato, garlic, basil topping, light on the oil. This was a perfect dish. Prior to the pasta we started with a salad and bread - The salad was fresh, crisp, flavorful with a yummy light dressing and the bread was served with real butter, not whipped or altered just real butter - delicious.
Service was impeccable and the food outstanding. We are new regulars!“

“Another stellar visit to Anila's last night with my wife. Courtesy of Alice, our Pala Casino host... Jose is a consummate server. Never missed a step! Very impressive for only 3 months on the job... Anila knocked it out of the park as usual again! From the hors d'oeuvres to the creme brulee dessert, the entire experience was wonderful and flavorful. Anila whipped up a linguini and clams for my wife, which isn't on the menu. But, if Anila has the ingredients on hand, she'll usually make anything you want! A true chef! I always try to order her off menu specials... Tonight was a delicious Margarita pizza as an appetizer and her Surf and Turf flavorfest! Exceptional!“

The arancini was crisp on the outside with a very thin layer of rice and was oozing with filling of cheese and spinach a the carbonara was perfection with no cream and the creaminess of egg yolks and pasta water. We have spent time in Italy and are planning to move to Italy in months and this was Italy. Perfection!“

“Every once in a while you find a jewel. If you don’t love Italian cuisine then move along because after 25 years of dining around Carlsbad we have found a new place to call home. OMG all four of us had something different and we all agreed this is our new number one place to go. From the lasagna to the chicken parmesan with everything freshly made like you would not believe would swear that they’re growing it in the backyard of someone’s house. “My experience here was nothing short of perfection. This was my first time coming here. I was on my way home from a completely horrible day at work when I saw this shop. When I entered, I was met with smiles and warm greetings. The owners were very nice, outgoing, bubbly and attentive. Their food menu had a lot to offer, there weren’t any prices on the menus but they had a large selection. The shop was very cute on the inside and seemed very clean. I will definitely be back as I shared a love of excessive amounts of garlic with the owners! My pizza was amazing and probably the best pizza I’ve had in a long time. Their ranch was to die for!!!!! This definitely made my day 100% better.“

“I was very surprised by this place and its food. The calamari was fried just perfect and the Greek Salad was wonderful which had just enough feta cheese unlike other places.

The manager on Friday was very welcoming to our group of 10 and very accommodating, he also personally took care of us. We sat outside on the picnic tables, the evening weather was just perfect and the music was jamming.

“We heard about thos place from a neighbor and we received something in the mail that peak our interest. We noticed that had the pepperonis that curl up to form a cup. I asked our neighbor and he raved how good it was. To make sure to get there best pizza they are known for. That was the Ultatimate Magnifico. So we headed our way to go get it. The place was clean. Nice little bench to sit and wait. We met the staff and were extremely friendly. While we ordered and looked at the menu. They gave us recommendations. We had the pleasure to have Thomas checked us out. He made the experience extremely enjoyable. It felt genuine and real. There's something about pizzerias when they have that real pizza joint vibe. Thomas recommended other pizzas to try next time. Once we got home. The pizza looked exactly like the pictures. You can tell be the ingredients they use when it's so favorable. From the crust to the sausages. The pepperonis were the best! We legitimately felt full after two slices. It was such a treat! If your an Oceanside local. This place has to be on your radar. “Met the owner and his family on the train going toward Encinitas and they were some of the coolest train folk I’ve ever met. They were kind enough to give me and my partner a free box of their grand slam pizza (which we both devoured due to the deliciousness.) I think it’s safe to say that, that was some of the best pizza I’ve ever had on a train before. Or ever. I’m not located in vista whatsoever, however, I’d make a 2 hour trip to grand slam solely to get another taste of that pizza. (And ranch!) I never got the owners name unfortunately, but me and my partner were very grateful for your kindness and pizza that day. Hope to visit grand slam soon!!“

We ordered so much food along with refills on drinks and dips and Savannah provided wonderful service all around! “We're from the Inland Empire area and used to live in Vista years ago. We used to go to the Two Brothers location on Vista Way. I guess they closed down. But thank God this spot was in Vista as well. Food is delicious and the customer service was excellent. Super friendly and attentive.“

“All aspects of the dining experience continue to be excellent. Valet service was lacking on this visit. Standing in two empty spots, the valet told us the lot was full, and that we should find free curb parking in the neighborhood. That proved impossible, so we parked in the paid beach parking lot and luckily avoided any major heart or back issues on the uphill trek to the restaurant. In the past, valets have hustled and queued street parking until spots were available. Last night's valet seemed to be mostly focused on minimizing effort to accommodate customers. I may have had to find alternative parking in the past in my 20+ years in the area, but don't recall ever being dismissed quite so brusquely and unapologetically. Certainly not at Vigilucci's! But disabled beach parking is only $7 with no one to tip, so we did save a few dollars there.“

One thing I didn’t like was the alarm that goes off every time the front door opens. I understand that it probably comes as a result of times where employees don’t quickly get to the front. It just kind of makes it seem like they’re being summoned like a butler.. they’re people doing a job.. but ok.. The job that they did do was very well done“

“The Cioppino seafood soup was really good. My girlfriend loves pasta, bread and Italian food, after seeing an advertisement for a special at this restaurant I knew this would be a good date night dinner opportunity. My girlfriend absolutely loved her pasta dish which I do not remember the name of. I remember when I was a kid my parents loved the Cioppino from some restaurant in Cardiff that no longer exists so when I saw it on the menu I thought for the price it must be amazing and it was. It was very delicious and good. If the Cioppino sounds good and you've never try it olease do!“
