Very good food, nice atmosphere, great service.
Been here twice in the last couple of weeks, but ordered food to go. So far this place has climbed to the top of my list of go to Mexican food. The flavor is fantastic and they give generous portions which makes your money well spent. I haven't tried dining in yet, but I'm sure the food should be the same. I would definitely recommend this place to whoever is looking for great Mexican food.

Based on the reviews, El Tarasco Taqueria is one of the best Mexican restaurants in Brentwood and Oakley. The restaurant started as a Mexican take out but now offers sit-down dining with an ambiance that reflects Hispanic culture. The food is very tasty, fresh, and served in very generous portions. Popular menu items include the Shrimp Torta, Flautas Dinner Plate, quesabirria, birria burrito, and shrimp quesadilla with sour cream and guacamole. The best margaritas in Brentwood are also available. The food is very well prepared, though some dishes came out lukewarm instead of hot. The salsa could have more heat. The owner and his family are very friendly and accommodating. The staff is super nice, friendly, and helpful. The place is clean. The restaurant has expanded its menu, added alcoholic beverages, and improved the food. The horchata is delicious. This is a great local business to support.
