Whenever I'm in the East Bay, I try to always stop by and grab boba from here. They're always consistent in making great tasting drinks. Haven't been here for a while but had a craving for brown sugar boba and YumCha met my craving. To my surprise they are under new ownership and have added savory and sweet snacks to their menu! Will come back to try items from both new menus and will update my review. The lady working solo was very nice and store was nice and clean, as usual. Excited to see what else they add to their menu.

The brûlée topping on anything adds that extra fancy you didn't think you needed. The flavors are good and isn't overly sweet. The boba itself is a maybe a 6.5 but the drink is 8.5. If the boba was a better texture the drink would be a solid 10. I've been here a few times now and every-time the service is a bit slow regardless of how busy they are. Just FYI if you're in a hurry, maybe call ahead.
