“Had the chicken katsu bento. The chicken was nice and crispy, to the point that you could hear the crunch in every bite, while still being nice and juicy. It was accompanied by a really good potatoe salad, but the best side was the hijiki salad. It was nice and refreshing. Everything was made to order and fresh, as soon as I opened it, the steam gave away how good it was.“

“Truly authentic Korean restaurant. Very few left around southern California. The soy sauce blu crab is must try, so fresh and so tasty. Their fish egg soup is excellent also. The Wang Galbi jjim is excellent choice also. Truly the hole in a wall Korean family restaurant.“

“This pizza is Detroit style, I was unfamiliar. It's sort of like Chicago style but the sauce isn't on top. This place was a nice surprise. The pizza was really tasty and a good size for 3 adults. This is a ghost kitchen inside John's incredible. Pick up is on the back side, away from La Palma.“

“Shootz is sooo good. I usually get the katsu chicken sandwich and spam masubi. The portion is kinda big and the quality is consistent. One of the best places to eat at rodeo 39! The chicken sandwich is so crispy and the spam masubi has a crunch at the top which makes it so yummy.“

“Been here twice and tried a number of dishes. The parking lot is a little sketch sometimes but the service is always great. They some specialty dishes that I don't see everywhere and I love they open early. Vietnamese breakfast, yes please. Every dish I've had taste a lot cleaner/healthier than the other places in OC. This used to be a coffee shop and they swapped to just restaurant because their food was being raved about. I'm a fan.“

I loved it so much! 🤤 the to-go packaging made it very convenient to eat, the ribeye was already cooked in the soup and wasn’t raw. I also did try the crème brûlée here and I wouldn’t be able to recommend that but the ribeye pho is just delish and deserves the 5 stars in its own 😋“

> Tried the Beef Intestine Yuk Gae Jang this time. The intestines were clean with no smell and had a nice chewy texture. Broth was rich.

“We have cravings for Korean food, but not the typical Korean BBQ. So we checked out Hanshin Pocha for the first time. Very down to earth setting. In the middle there's a big article and picture of the famous Korean chef (Chef Jong Won Paik) who also founded this chain of restaurants.

We told the server this is our first time so he was very helpful to explain the tradition and the type of food and what are their specialties.

We listened and ordered the whole fried chicken, the whole octopus, and the chicken feet stew!

We had such a good time! The food were exceptional! So tasty and fresh! You really have to try this place out and get the chicken!

“Complex, authentic Korean flavors made with traditional p ingredients. A humble porridge could become a pleasantly enjoyable experience. I ordered bulnakji porridge today and instead of using ground beef or cheap meat, they used a good quality meat and then they sautéed the marinated bulgogi in butter. mmm. Chives/buchu they used were fresh and green. So was the octopus. Often times you taste the fishiness but this octopus or nakji had a very clean flavor. The venue and the food they served were very clean. I highly recommend this place.“

The pork & cheese, also chicken & cheese pupusas are fantastic! The owner was helpful & her husband is always nice. The menu, which is laid out well. Clean restroom, authentic decor, nice variety of drinks. Music is at a high volume. Yummy spicy curtido and the red sauce is just right, with good spices. “I like the big portion of this restaurant. I went 2 people so we ordered 2 dishes. We tried: 1. Pork Back Bone Stew: very huge portion. The meat is soft and you can feel the broth has been well cooked that gives you the sweet and rich taste. 2. Stir Fried Squid (because I love squid!): very good. This dish can be eaten with rice (if you want to be full) or will paired good with a taste of Soju. The portions are big so don't over ordering or you will have some food to go. The food is a little plaint and there's salt to add (if you are a salty food fan) to assure you don't leave the broth behind. You will feel healthy as you leave the place. Will be great to have for hangover or when you are sick. I went on a weekend night for dinner and the restaurant was a little quiet. I think this place is most suitable for lunch. I would definitely come back to try their other stews and pork belly!“
