“3/3 on good food today. 1/1 on Brew Brothers own brewed beers. Fish and Chips, fried Chicken Sandwich, and even the kids menu Grilled cheese were all great hits. Had the seasonal "Tis the Saison" beer, and it was delicious. Happy to have an option on the holiday New Year's Day as well. Had the Rose Bowl on several TVs alongside their usual stream of funny sports moments.“
“I was at trustworthy brewing company yesterday with a small group. I actually had no idea this place was here until someone in the group suggested we meet there. I'm so glad they did! What a great place! This place is much bigger than it looks from the outside. They have a great indoor area with high boy tables and a bar. But the most surprising part was the great patio that you access by walking through a quick "maze" in the back of the brewery. As someone with a disability I was so happy to see that the back patio was accessible via a ramp and not via stairs. Trustworthy Brewing has a great assortment of beers on tap and in cans. I forget what the one I tried was called but it was a light rice beer and I really enjoyed it. I would say I'll order it next time but there are a lot of other beers on the menu I want to try so it may be a while. I liked everything about this place. My only complaints would be 1) parking is pretty challenging so if I hadn't gotten lucky and found a spot right in front I probably wouldn't have been able to stay with my disability (there is no handicapped parking) but if you don't mind walking a block or two it shouldn't be a problem for you and 2) hi boy tables are really hard to sit at with a disability so I wish they had more regular tables, especially inside. Otherwise, this place is great and I can't wait to go back!“
“Awesome experience! We were seated within 5 min thanks to having a reservation. Our waiter was outstanding. He was very friendly and attentive. Food was very good and menu has a great variety of options. And they make a great old fashioned too!“
“A hidden gem! We stopped by here after a game of tennis and it was the exact vibe we wanted. They have live music, food trucks, vendors, and a game room. We opted to chill in the game room and enjoy some college basketball and a couple rounds of exploding kittens. The noho boho and Michelada were solid choices. The Pilsner taste met my fiancée's expectations. We each got the shamrock shimmer (green glitter added to drinks in honor of St. Patty's Day), so that was fun.The staff were upbeat and happy to be there which always adds a pleasantness to the experience. Even though the place was packed, our beers came out pretty quickly.I thoroughly enjoyed this place and will definitely be back!“
“Nice spot on the south end of York to share beers and hang with friends! Plenty of seating indoors with a nice enclosed patio in back. Darts, board games, etc. seating for two or large parties. Pizza is solid with a good variety of in-house beers.?Parking: May have to look around for parking on weekends. Not too far away, though.“
“The space is very cool and a great place to go with a group. The staff is cool, friendly and helpful. My only issue is most of the beer is just...not for me. They do have a few good ones but more often than not I've been underwhelmed by the beer. Overall solid place though if you don't care much about that.“
“I went to this brewery after work and met the love of my life! Jk jk but I had a really great time and the beer was very good. I’m not usually a beer drinker but I had two beers and they were very flavorful. The bathrooms were immaculate clean which I loved. The vibe was casual but also some people there for happy hour after work. I would go again!“
“I'm not a drinker so I'm here solely to review the food and vibes!! Everything I tried was actually pretty good, there was good flavor and freshness to everything. I will say it is a tad bit pricey, $21 for a burger and fries, but it is pretty good quality. Staff was super friendly and helpful. There are also no real bathrooms, just porta potties. Good amount of street parking, and seating outside. Good for a chill get together.“
“This has been always been one of my favorite bars in LA, but has gotten even better over the last few years with the new patio area. Great selection of beer, wine, kombucha, etc., solid bar food, and the staff is always helpful and willing to let you do a taste of something before ordering. Wanted to also chime in regarding H.R.'s one star review of the bar. We were outside that night as well, and her telling of events is hilariously untrue. She assaulted a patron, threatened a second patron, poured a beer on a third patron, and was finally asked to leave by staff. Her husband also threatened our table despite us not being a part of the kerfuffle she started with the people at the table next to us. It was definitely an eventful night, but the staff handled the situation well given how unruly she and her party were.“
“Another hidden gem that you stumble upon. We stopped off for a drink after dinner and found this place on Yelp. It wasn't a far walk from the restaurant so it was a win. It's kind of tucked away just from the main road. So if you didn't know know where you were going, you may now find it. Well, it also help with the beer sign that we seen. Once inside, it was happening. The crowd was great, a packed house which means it's a happening and fun place. The twinkling lights, don't know if it's there all the time or for the holidays. Service was amazing. You order at the bag of course, plenty of beers to choose from. Starting from light to dark. Also great to sample some to find what you like. There's the main area when you walk in. A patio in the back, and another seated area inside. A fun cool spot that is a must try whenever your in the area. Glad that we found this place and will definitely be back. Also, not sure if they offer food.“
“Cool little brewing company with nice outdoor area complete with fire rings, heaters and benches & tables. Fun atmosphere at night with quick service and great beer & cider. Say hi to the bar cat who is super friendly and makes his rounds checking on guests. (Dog friendly bar as well) I don't think they serve food from the actual Benny Boy Brewery but they usually have outside vendors come in with delicious food.“
“This brewery is difficult to find, but worth the effort. (It is off a 1-way street; in industrial park, service road to freeway). But once you find it you'll be glad.Gus, on the taps, makes you feel at home. The beers are diverse. They do have flights. I tried a crazy interesting dark beer & an Oktoberfest. Yes they have IPAs. Since I'm not a fan, I appreciated the variety.Outside patio & spacious interiorThey have parking. Dogs are welcome. Food from vendors or you may bring in. Great beers that are Reasonably priced.I will return!“
“A brewery that’s a bit off the beaten path and totally worth checking out. Street parking only but we found a spot easily on a Saturday around 5pm. The whole setup is great with indoor and outdoor seating options. The food truck outside had great smash burgers and various loaded fries. The flights of beer are a lot of fun because of the library theme. I love that they have so many hazy IPAs! Really enjoyed this spot and look forward to going back!“
“Boomtown Brewery is a craft beer lover's paradise! Their diverse selection of brews offers something for everyone, from hoppy IPAs to rich stouts. The industrial-chic atmosphere and friendly staff create the perfect setting for enjoying a pint with friends. Plus, the rotating food trucks outside add to the experience. Whether you're a beer aficionado or just looking for a cool spot to hang out, Boomtown Brewery is a must-visit destination in LA.“
“I was in desperate need of a spot to post up and work for a while. Native Son came to mind and I couldn’t have chosen better. J could quickly sense my level of stress and set me up w a comfy spot w an outlet and wifi. He asked me what I liked for beer and his recs were spot on.Thanks for making a tricky afternoon a little brighter. I’ll be back and I hope others do too!“
“Eagle Rock Brewery may be the most under appreciated brewery in Los Angeles. It's located near a dead end not too far from Glendale, Los Feliz and the Griffith observatory.I went last week and had two of the most drinkable west coast IPA's I've had all year. While it doesn't the variety of El Segundo it more than makes up for it with the quality of its brews and cool populist vibes. Drink up guys!“
“Nice and ChillI love this brewery!! It does tend to get busier during the end of the week, but there is a lot of seating. For a girl who is so indecisive, the staff is always knowledgeable on recommending what beer to try. They sell snacks inside, but there's usually a food truck or vendor where the outside seating is located. Good vibes here.“
“Visited Homage Brewing on a Thursday night.Ambience:I decided to head down over in order to get a feel for the type of environment Homage brewery presents and to try out the smashed burger. Since I’m seeking out different places to invite friends for nights out. As mentioned by other reviewers, yes this brewery is directed towards a hipster crowd. Homage Brewings interior is minimalistic and upon entering, the interior was lit with red lights complimented with a DJ bumping music. The employees were friendly and attentive, furthermore, food service was excellent. The cool thing about this place is that the exterior seating area serves as a place where one can hang out and relax, while downing a couple drinks. The interior (for weekends) serves as a platform to vibe with the music provided by the DJ.Food & Beverages:I was honestly surprised when I glanced over the beer menu, no flight option present. As a brewery, a flight option should be available, since it helps customers explore different products. I opted out, as I was driving ( and saving my appetite for when I return) but my partner had some wines which she enjoyed.I decided to order their smashed burger, which came with two Pattie’s, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, everything sauce, and potato buns. The burger was good, as it was fresh, a good sized portion, and flavorful. There’s a review out there complaining about the Crispy farm potatoes fish scent, let me explain that the fish scent comes from the Mullet borttaga, a type of roe. Therefore, that review is not credible. The crispy potatoes were crunchy, well seasoned, and soft in the interior. A small dip of the horseradish sauce will be suffice. The food was good and hoping to try out other menu items in the future, in addition to their beers.“
“Love coming to this brewery when I'm in town. Everyone has tried a mango cart in their lifetime but having it on tap doesn't compare. The brewery itself is huge with a lot of seating. They even have a play area for kids. Lots of different styles of beer to choose from. The food is really good stuff. I always tend to get the nachos and share. Parking is limited in the property. The service is quick and great.“
“Cool place! We were there for Sunday brunch on 3/17/24 celebrating a friend’s birthday, he got a free shot! We had the French toast, Brussels sprouts, Cauliflower fried wings, the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, all delicious! And the service was excellent! Definitely going back.“
“Always a fan of Frogtown brewery, one of my favorite beers is the Painkiller!! I recently order a pitcher of it and it was a bit sweeter than usual, I understand every batch is different but this one was less hoppier than usual and on the sweeter end, with that being said i still love Frogtown and I will continue to support them.“
“Me personally I am not a downtown fan, it's the same as london but smaller, but if you are in the area, I would highly recommend this place, it's amazing and cosy with a live atmosphere. Just east tp downtown sp out the way but close enough to go and unwind for a few hours.“
“Good beer. Went in on a Sunday morning or about lunchtime. Nice decor and pin ball machines for the kids. There was a group of dad and kids playing a card game. Had three beers and a bag of chips. When I went to leave I asked for a large plastic cup for water instead of the short ones. I was told no. Those are for beer only. Kind of petty for a five cent plastic cup but okay then...“
