“I made a Resy reservation to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Street parking was accessible and convenient a few steps away from the location. Once we walked in, I was greeted by first name by the host behind the bar who directed us to follow Lisa, our server, to our table for two in the garden patio. Once seated, she asked if we'd like to turn on the heated lamp, which we appreciated. We ordered the Hunan BBQ Pork Ribs (so meaty and smoky), Chilled Sesame Peanut Noodles (which my wife commented would be an ideal dish during a warm summer night), Lemongrass Chicken Banh Mi (served on a toasted, pillowy brioche bun), paired with a side of the Shoestring Fries. Lastly we enjoyed an unexpected gift from the kitchen - Shanghai Triple Onion Noodles, which was a warm dish in contrast to the other cold noodles. As a thoughtful gesture, the bartender, offered us two glasses of champagne to acknowledge our occasion. To cap off our unforgettable meal, we ordered the Hochija Tres Leches and Honeymoon Bread Pudding. The perfect conclusion to a delicious and well-thought out dinner. For a location with a history dating back to the prohibition era (informed by Lisa), I'm glad to see it's continuing it's life as a bar with an innovative kitchen. As I mentioned last night, the dinner was great but the service was even better! Thank you for making our anniversary dinner memorable :)“
“Amazing amazing place. The cashier and chefs are the kindest people ever. The food tastes authentic and truly amazing. It was raining and they were so kind to let us shelter and enjoy our food inside temporarily. They treated us so well and we couldn't be more grateful“
“I visited this plaza for the first time this past week and it had a bunch of shops and H Mart. There were a couple of shops that had cute little knick knack kid toys/utensils/stationary/mugs and my niece bought a few cute Hello Kitty items! I bought my daughter a cute Pochacco calculator keychain and my husband a Naruto mug. The next time I'm in Koreatown I will for sure stop by!“
“By far the best mall food court I've ever been to. The food at all the different stalls is delicious. What I love about it is the variety of different Asian food types you can get. It also has tons of seating and a full parking garage.“
“I had to review this great restaurant! The food is outstanding and the people are a truly great couple who aim to please their customers. Chef Ike and his wife, Irene, are consummate professionals who understand sushi and source the very freshest fish I have ever had in LA- either side of the hill! I am a loyal eater and it took a lot for me to try a new sushi spot after going to a very famous valley sushi spot for over 25 years. I was thrilled, which is saying a lot considering the legendary competetion that they were up against. I have not ever had a less than fabulous piece of fish there.“
