The food is incredibly delicious, the staff is patient and very friendly ( and they ARE bilingual so you don't have to speak English to enjoy their marvelous dishes ), the portions are big enough for 2 or to take what's left home for dinner. “Hidden gem on El Camino! I stopped by S El Camino Taqueria on a whim and was shocked the place was empty—this spot deserves way more traffic.

I had the carne asada burrito and every single bite was on point. The meat was tender, flavorful, and perfectly grilled—no weird chewy pieces or filler, just quality carne asada. The ingredients tasted super fresh and well-balanced, like they actually care about what they’re serving.

Bonus points for the salsa bar—especially the avocado salsa verde. Creamy, tangy, a little spicy, and absolutely addictive. I could’ve put that on everything.

Then I drove from Oakley to San Mateo to have them fresh. It was AMAZING! They provide extra stuff to add to the tacos, but it honestly didn’t need them. The meat was so tender & flavorful that I had to close my eyes so I could fully appreciate the taste. Then I added the extras one by one & it tasted like a new taco each time. “Was driving by and saw this truck. Never tried it before and never heard of it! The cashier at the truck didn't speak any English and was talking to me in Spanish. I simply showed her 2 of my fingers and said, " 2 cabeza y 2 al pastor". I'll give it a try why not!10 minutes later,a plate of hot tacos came out. I paid 2 dollars per taco for a total of 8 dollars. Sat on thr bench and gobbled those delicious tacos down!Cabeza was not too dry and had right amount of aromatic flavor. Al pastor was a little bit spicy. The tacos are so tasty (may need a little more meat) and made to perfection. The gordita is a force to be reckoned with, bursting with flavor and so worth its weight in gold. “The smash burger was great and similar to what you would expect. However, the beef patty could use some additional salt. Also, when I asked for the special sauce, it was served with mayonnaise. I think the flavor would be more enhanced with the special sauce.“

“My favorite dinner is barbecued pork ribs and baked beans from Capelo's. I've been to St. Louis and other so-called barbecue restaurants in the Bay Area, but none compete with the ribs that Castro and the boys offer on a daily basis. I don't know how they do it, but for me, the meat tells the story and one doesn't need either of the several sauces they provide.
Their online ordering is straight-forward, their prices are excellent, and I have been the beneficiary of party ordering from offspring in Arizona.
And by the way, parking is rarely an issue !

“Parking: free parking, but very busy over the weekend.

I have seen many locations across the bay area.

Food: Most of the foods are grilled or fried. All of them are tasty and fresh. Many fish choices, sauces, and sites to choose from. My favorite sauces are garlic butter and Cajun. The fish and chips are very good with tartar sauce. The grilled sea bass fish are very flavorful and would recommend having sauce on the side.

Price: very reasonable price for portions of food.“

“Had a birria super burrito. The tortilla was nice, soft and tasty, however, the burrito and birria itself was quite dry. No amount of sauce helped saved this burrito. I don't even think I tasted the avocado. I probably should've just stuck with my regular carne asada but I'm not sure there'll be a next time for that. Given the restaurant's high reviews, I'm sure I just ordered the wrong menu item. I should've checked before letting my stomach decide. So yeah, skip the birria super burrito and order one of the other menu items recommended by others.“

“I live at the top of the road and I passed this for a year. I thought it was there because we have had a ton of construction on the road. Thought I’d give it a try… oh sweet baby Jesus I’m glad I did. The tortillas are made from SCRATCH!!!!! The meat is not grease the flavor is a chefs kiss amazing. Tacos are $3 a piece, that’s all I’ve tried but the my dying to try more. They have burritos and tortas. Def give this truck a taste you won’t be disappointed.
