“Sunlife’s Million Dollar Smoothie continues to be one of my favorite things ever. I think they’ve brought the price down a little since Covid?? (Or I’m delusional. It’s still pricey for a smoothie but utterly worth it.

The young woman working the counter in the Calabasas store when I went in to grab it was super friendly, authentically so, and was running things with efficiency and kindness. Really impressed.

Will definitely return (it’s my favorite smoothie in the world, after all).”

Parking: The car parking is free for whoever come to restaurant or shopping every one and plenty of car park spaces.”

“My wife and I live in Tarzana, and even though we have plenty of decent Mediterranean spots nearby, we always go out of our way to eat at Mediterranean Pita Grill. The outdoor seating area offers beautiful views of the hills, which makes the experience even more enjoyable.

The food is consistently delicious and generous in portion. I usually go with the beef and chicken plate, and I’m always impressed with both the quantity and quality. The rice is cooked perfectly—not too soft, not too firm—and the meat is always tender, juicy, and full of flavor.

On top of that, the staff is generally polite and friendly. They’ve earned a forever customer in us.”

“Great drinks. All service staff very nice. Juan was helpful in deciding which of the 20 salads to choose, he's had them all. And half off drinks and apps at happy hour doesn't hurt either. I saw the pizza at another table that needed a triple spatula cheese pull to get it all on the plate. Be trying that next time.”

There are classic, more commonly known Thai dishes, as well as lesser known dishes on the menu that provide a lovely variety.

I got the crispy pork with prik king & side of white rice, my boyfriend got the green curry fried rice, and we both got Thai iced teas. Everything was delicious and we will definitely be back.”

“I love soup so I’m happy this has opened near me. I ordered 2 days soup cleansing. They guys in the shop advised 16oz (as it says on the card) however, 16oz of soup 5 x a day would make me sick and fat! So, me and my husband split the tubs and had 8oz per tub. Our 2 day turned into 4 days. I’m unsure of you are really meant to eat the whole 16oz or not because the guys in the store said yes and sold me all this for two days. But definitely half would be the right amount. What I can say is every soup and broth today tasted great. I’m looking forward to day 2 of 4 lol”

“To be honest I don't know where to begin...perhaps explosion of wow inside of my mouth! The tacos here are amazeballs covered in awesome sauce. I eat here regularly for lunch and have become ADDICTED! The food is amazing, the service is bar none, and I love the large screen tv while you wait for your order. It's hard to imagine food this great being inside a Chevron but don't let that make you miss out on truly terrific tacos! There are lots of other snacks and items to be found in this location that makes going for tacos all the better! The price...fuggedabout it! Taqueria Las Virgenes I love you!”

“Redemption. I visited sharkys last month and didn't have a good experience. I put a review and to my surprise i ended speaking with one of the owners. I'm not the type to give establishments second chances yet when one of the owners reaches out to apologize then I decided to give it a go. I walked in today and was greeted with a smile. I placed my order and had a seat. My food was brought out to me and the clerk even took time to double check my order. I came back and began to try it... I feel as if the owner actually listened. Food was on point, employees were nice, even before they knew I was there for the 2nd chance. I applaud this company for acknowledging when someone has a bad experience and offers to make it right. I will be returning and I do suggest if anyone is near agoura and las virgenes, stop by sharkys, you'll be pleasantly surprised”

“Best pastries and cakes you can buy, excellent customer service, very friendly staff. Yes they went through a name change, but still the same owners. If you pay attention to the sign on the counter, it explains the reason for the name change. Same great tasting goodie’s. I will continue to take my drive all the way from West Covina. Yes, that’s how delicious everything is . Highly recommend it.”

“The best Japanese food I ever had! So tasty, so much flavor and it melts in your mouth. Their house special Shibuya rolls are amazing. Crispy rice Spicy tuna to die for, scallops rolls - even a simple cucumber side dish was so tasty. My favorite Black Cod Miso - cooked to perfection! Everything was so fresh - you can feel the difference!

The place is small and the wait can be hour long. Plan accordingly but going early for dinner can reduce the wait time. Parking can be difficult but there is plenty of parking off the road.

Update: wait this time was longer because of weekend - over 2 hours! We just went to The Commons at Calabasas. The food was still super good!

PS: To cut wait time many people plan ahead. Go at 4:00 pm to add reservation at Shibuya, watch a movie and come back!”

“We went for dinner with the family on a Tuesday night. The place has a high ceiling and is very open - much like an attic space. The counter at the front has a huge refrigerated case with nice looking pastries. We didn't try the pastries. We were seated and the waiter came quickly. She took our drink order and came back for our entree order right after. We all chose pasta. I had the bolognese tagliatelle. My husband had the plain red sauce. My husband reported that his pasta was great. Mine sauce was good but not great. It was soft and lacked depth, or character. The pasta itself was good, not the pasta. My main concern was the noise level. Granted, I'm not young, but the hard floors and high ceilings weren't softened by any soft covers, so it was deafening to me.”

“Toscanova at the Commons in Calabasas is a solid four star restaurant. The food is good, though not exceptional, and falls more into the category of reliable than remarkable. We had a pizza that was pretty good and a salad that was fresh and well done, but neither stood out as something you would rush back for. That said, everything was certainly enjoyable and competently prepared. The real strength here is the service, which was attentive, professional, and made the meal feel easy and comfortable. The atmosphere is also pleasant, a nice balance of lively and polished, making it a good choice for a business lunch or a casual dinner. It has the feel of a place where you can count on things running smoothly without much fuss. Toscanova is not haute cuisine and doesn’t aspire to be. It’s more of a dependable B+ option that delivers what you expect without elevating the experience into something extraordinary. I do recommend it for what it is, and especially for the convenience and consistent service. Just know going in that while it’s very good, it doesn’t quite reach the five star level in terms of food or overall atmosphere.”
