Top notch winery with great wines and great views and historical information you learn about the Napa Valley and the 1976 judgment of paris
This is our favorite winery in Napa Valley. Not just because of its history but also because whenever we're here we have a first class experience and the wine offerings are wonderful. Jay was our host for this visit and he did an outstanding job of explaining the wine varietals - very personable and professional. Thank you.
On our girls trip to Napa, my friends and I adored Chateau Montelena. Our guide, Stacey, was so knowledgeable and easy to be around. She answered all our questions and was not scripted at all. Chill vibes, beautiful property, delish wines !

Chateau Montelena offers an exceptional wine tasting experience led by knowledgeable staff. The estate Cabernet Sauvignon and the famous Judgement of Paris Chardonnay are standouts. Visitors can enjoy a charming atmosphere, delicious wines, and excellent service. The chateau and grounds are exquisite, with a lovely pond available for picnics at the bottom of the castle. The educational tour and wine tasting are highly praised, providing guests with new knowledge and respect for the winemaking process.
