“Mo's is inside camp Pendleton, so assuming you have a base pass Mo's is in the MCX parking lot so there is plenty of parking.
I had the birria bowl on lime cilantro rice and it was $15. It was enough to fill me up and quite delicious.“

In fact I wish they cared about us as much to make grunt chowhalls like this. Cheap food but affordable. Would come back if I was in the area. “This place has gotten 10 times better in the last eight months. Super surprised when I came back from deployment and it's going to continue to get better. “This restaurant fills up quickly. But if you get there right and open, you don’t even need reservations. The staff is very laid-back but the food is super sophisticated. Be sure to order one of their desserts. It was my favorite part of the visit.“

“From being greeted by Pradstha to being served by Hugo all was fantastic. My steak was cooked to perfection (Medium rare of course) the baked potato was cooked through but not dry, and the salad bar provided a very nice fresh selection. Even two Managers Michael and Christine made sure all was well with my meal.

“I wish more people ate at this place, it’s such an underrated Indian restaurant. Second time here and tried the chicken biryani. Best damn biryani I’ve ever had in my life. (My picture doesn’t do it justice but the bowl was FULL and enough to share with three people if you combine it with naan). The first time I had the tikka and the samosas which were amazing as well. “First time ordering from here. Had wonton soup and have to say it was probably the best I have ever had outside of Chinatown in New York and San Francisco. Perfect wontons in a light not overly salty broth that also contained pieces of shrimp, chicken, pork and cabbage. Can't wait to try more from the menu.

“Smallish restaurant with tiny parking lot of about 10 spots shared between 3 businesses. Like the roll up garage door windows, lots of outdoor picnic bench seating under shade canopies (which we couldn't use on this rainy day). Beer selection is pretty good, we had the meat lovers 12 inch pizza and liked the thin crispy crust, a bit skimpy on the toppings but tasty enough.

Parking: I think 10 spots between 3 (?) businesses in this very small strip mini mall.“

“Shaks came recommended to us by our wedding photographer. Upon finding out they were Armenian Lebanese (same as my family!), we knew we would book with them. As we lived out of the country, our parents went to the menu tasting and had the time of their lives. They came back raving about the place and said we have to book. Totally didn't understand the assignment of narrowing down the menu items we should have on the big day, lol. but that's a testament to how good the food is (especially the fresh falafel). Andrew was so helpful on calls, as he is very busy and emails weren't the best method of communication, and answered all of our questions, worked within our parameters and with a ton of integrity. The team was a delight on the day of and worked their tails off in the kitchen with a smile and in front of the guests. The food was a hit with the guest and I am still thinking about the garlic that I'm sure I smelled like on the wedding night because I just couldn't get enough, lol. The leftovers were awesome to have and to share with guests, too. We will be visiting Shak's when we're in the area as a nostalgia trip!!“

This place is truly authentic and delicious. I cannot stress enough how good it is. If you like Latin food at all you must come here and try it.

“Found this location from a recommendation from one of the exotic tree nurseries down the street. Next to a main road but not to busy or intrusive on our experience. The food was amazing and most important. Fresh authentic, spiced really well and I could not be more impressed with the quality and the chef. Beautiful atmosphere on the flower filled outside cozy seating area. A great place to spend time with a loved one on a bike ride. Will be going back for sure when in the area for sure. We visited in the morning in April 2025.“

“We never came here for dinner when it was just Pacific Coast spirits because it always looked empty. But we popped in at one point and realized it was actually a pretty cool place to hang with great beer.

We learned that the owners of South Coast brewing took it over and they were redoing the menu. So we came in today and it was absolutely fabulous you guys. We had the chicken schnitzel and the Cajun pasta. I also had the best hazy beer of my life.

I really stand by these owners and definitely check out South brewing as well… great people and they do an amazing job. I really hope to see this place fills up and becomes a hot spot. Great people, great food, great drinks.“

“Hands down the best BÚN ĐẶC BIÊT - Special Combination Vermicelli Noodle I have ever had in my life! Everything to the meats and egg rolls and noodles was on point! NOT one piece of meat was dry! That’s how it should be. They all were moist and very tender and had extremely good and power flavor. Props to the chefs. Other restaurants need to take note and learn from Annam Pho & Sandwiches. For us, the papaya salad was too fish sauce strong, it was good, but overpowering.

We enjoyed the beef curry and our tofu kabocha curry. Perfectly flavored, a 5/10 is genuinely a five, and the portions were great with just enough to bring home leftovers.

As a group we enjoyed the ribs appetizer, but the beef was tough and overcooked. Flavorwise the ribs were great, but chewy.“
