In fact I wish they cared about us as much to make grunt chowhalls like this. Cheap food but affordable. Would come back if I was in the area. “Mo's is inside camp Pendleton, so assuming you have a base pass Mo's is in the MCX parking lot so there is plenty of parking.
I had the birria bowl on lime cilantro rice and it was $15. It was enough to fill me up and quite delicious.“

“This place has gotten 10 times better in the last eight months. Super surprised when I came back from deployment and it's going to continue to get better. “Soo so good! Their dishes are unique and hearty! My favorite dish was the Eggplant. There was so much, it was shared among the three of us, one of which does not like eggplant… yet she loved this dish! The food was a nice fusion of Balinese and Western. They managed it perfectly! We can’t wait to try a few more of their dishes! Oh, and the dessert was heavenly! And to top it off, awesome 80s music in the background.🎶“

“Took a day trip to Oceanside via the train and checked out places we've never been before. Found Coomber Wines and it was a delightful end to our day. Lovely staff, delicious assortment of wines, very cool rustic decor and fantastic restrooms! Yes, I like to be pleasantly surprised when an establishment goes over the top and creates a wonderful restroom. We had a great afternoon here and would definitely return!“

“Smallish restaurant with tiny parking lot of about 10 spots shared between 3 businesses. Like the roll up garage door windows, lots of outdoor picnic bench seating under shade canopies (which we couldn't use on this rainy day). Beer selection is pretty good, we had the meat lovers 12 inch pizza and liked the thin crispy crust, a bit skimpy on the toppings but tasty enough.

Parking: I think 10 spots between 3 (?) businesses in this very small strip mini mall.“

“Shaks came recommended to us by our wedding photographer. Upon finding out they were Armenian Lebanese (same as my family!), we knew we would book with them. As we lived out of the country, our parents went to the menu tasting and had the time of their lives. They came back raving about the place and said we have to book. Totally didn't understand the assignment of narrowing down the menu items we should have on the big day, lol. but that's a testament to how good the food is (especially the fresh falafel). Andrew was so helpful on calls, as he is very busy and emails weren't the best method of communication, and answered all of our questions, worked within our parameters and with a ton of integrity. The team was a delight on the day of and worked their tails off in the kitchen with a smile and in front of the guests. The food was a hit with the guest and I am still thinking about the garlic that I'm sure I smelled like on the wedding night because I just couldn't get enough, lol. The leftovers were awesome to have and to share with guests, too. We will be visiting Shak's when we're in the area as a nostalgia trip!!“
