Geisha Japanese Restaurant and Tea House offers the best selection of vegan sushi with variety and creativity in vegetarian offerings. Everything tried was delicious. The huge, creative vegan menu options are overwhelming with choices. The California Roll, great salad, and good miso soup are satisfying, though the chicken teriyaki is like dry shiny sliced pieces of plastic. Sushi is excellent, and the nigori Sake is a fun, yummy grown-up drink poured in a box onto a square plate. Service can be spotty, and the restaurant lacks ambiance with dead silence, no music, stuffy air, and dirty windows. However, the food more than makes up for it, and everyone—omnivores and vegans—leaves happy.
