Hog's Breath Inn is a charming restaurant in Carmel with friendly wait staff and delicious food. The ambiance is very nice, especially outdoors where guests can sit next to outdoor fireplaces in the shade on warm days, creating a cozy atmosphere. The restaurant features Clint Eastwood memorabilia that adds a tasteful touch, and the staff is attentive without being pushy, ensuring a comfortable dining experience. The remodel is a great success and the entire experience was lovely. Popular dishes include the House Chicken Bowl, sand dabs piccata, and the BBQ Pork Sliders, which receive high praise. The menu also offers a nice selection for pets. The food quality is excellent, with dishes like the apple pie being a flaky heaven topped with caramel and apple drizzle. The scalloped potatoes were heavenly, and the french onion soup was a classic. Pasta dishes like stroganoff and alfredo were so good. The drinks were amazing. This establishment goes above and beyond the ordinary.
