“A little outdated in decor for an English pub, but quirky and interesting. Oh boy the food was spot on, we both had the steak and mushroom pie with veg and mash, better than any pie we've had at a restaurant in the UK for many a year! Well done! Excellent value too, a must do if you're in Monterey“

“The staff was friendly and helpful. They had a very large wedding party that they were tending to, but that did not impact the service and attentiveness that they paid to other groups that came in. Great selection of activities, golf, good food and friendly staff.“

“The food took foooorever to come out and we were starving. But honestly I will go back. It was amazing food. The service was just ok but expected at a tavern the lady's was busy by herself with a fulll house that started out empty when we got there“
