“Three of us stopped by here on 3/8/26 during a road trip.
It's everything one would expect out of a British-themed pub. It had good beer, character, and friendly bartenders. It reminded me of a couple of Irish pubs in and around Bedford and Boston, Massachusetts.“

“This place was recommended to me from a new friend. The food is absolutely amazing! I got the BB (a bacon blu burger) rare. It came out rare and so juicy! My husband got the Philly Cheese Steak also so delicious! We had forgotten to ask for our appetizer but the bar tender was more then happy to bring it to us after we got our food. The drinks atmosphere and food is a perfect balance. I highly recommend this place.“

“Here for work on Super Bowl Sunday. Got there a little late and the place was packed, I’m assuming it was the owner, welcomed us in and said he’d find us a spot no matter what. He did and the service, food and atmosphere was amazing!!!! 1000% recommend!!!!“

“In complete honesty I was in Pacific Grove for a long weekend and searched high and low for reliably good food every day, and after many attempts to find something, Monarch Pub had the most reliably good food good drink and good service. Would recommend!“
