What a gem of a sandwich shop! Just passing through Carpenteria and found it on Yelp. In a shopping center just off the 101. Great variety of soft fresh bread with any combination of meat, vegetarian, or sweet sandwich options you could imagine. I loved the vegetarian Carpenterian with golden heirloom tomatoes.

We had high hopes for this sandwich shop because of the reviews and we were very disappointed. We ordered three sandwiches and none were amazing. My husband had the Italian on a soft roll and he said it was just ok. I had the Thanksgiving on a soft roll and it was very underwhelming.
